Before I was directed in Dr Bartley's direction I had been going to a doctor at University for 1 1/2 years I bleed and had awful awful pain everyday and no answers, and the doctors wouldn't listen to me making me feel like this pain I felt was in my head , I was told over and over that I just needed to wait out, frustrated I asked my family doctor what I could do that's when I meet Dr Bartley and I got in right way and within 2 visits he figured out what was going on with me I 'am thankful that he listened and cared enough to go that extra mile to make sure I had answers!! and now I'm on my way to a different chapter in my life and on my way to getting my life back because that is exactly what it feels like!!!

My rating has less to do with Dr. Bartley's knowledge, and more to do with his manner. I was referred to him after my primary care doctor decided that I needed a hysterectomy. When Dr. Bartley discussed the hysterectomy with my husband and me he was adamant that he would also need to do a procedure to "correct" my bladder. I had never had ANY problems with my bladder, and 11 years later have STILL not had any problems with my bladder. He insisted that I did have problems and that they would worsen if not treated. I told him that I absolutely did not want him to perform any procedure on my bladder. He said "I'll just wait until after you're anesthetized and do it anyway." I was horrified, and told him that if he did any procedure that wasn't authorized I would report him to the insurance company and make sure he didn't get paid. Immediately after finishing up my appointment with him walked upstairs to my primary care doctor and asked to speak with her. I told her what he had said and she told me that she would make sure she was there to keep him from doing any unnecessary procedures. I was so worried about him performing surgery on me that the morning of the surgery I began hyperventilating as they were getting ready to anesthetize me. The only thing that calmed me down was knowing that my wonderful primary care doctor was right there next to me, making sure Dr. Bartley didn't do anything he wasn't authorized to do. She came in right after I woke up and told me that he had only done the hysterectomy. I have spent the last 11 years telling people to avoid this doctor, and I'll continue until he retires or gets his license revoked.

This 'doctor' is obsessed with performing surgery on healthy boys and will try to convince you to deprive your son of his most sensitive bits. A very disturbing man.

Dr. Bartley is very knowlegable and explained a lot of questions we had. He is very kind and funny. After reading some of these comments I think that some people are just very thin skinned and can't take constuctive critism very well. My wife feels very comfortable everytime we go to his Office, which says a lot.

I have known Dr. Bartley over ten years and have always been treated respectfully and with fairness. My mother and my sister have been continous patients of his. We have the utmost confidence in this doctor, know that he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He has always given of himself to the community and has gone above and beyond the call of duty. He is very intelligent and deserves the respect that he has earned throughout the years. My family and I put our complete trust in Dr. Bartley.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Bartley for years my sisters and I gave birth to our children with him and he did an amazing job. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Bartley. He is the best OB/GYN!!!

Dr. Bartley is very knowledgable and honest regarding treatment and procedures. As with any there is always a risk..... Dr. Bartley does bill because his main concern is treating women and their concerns/health. He is not god. I would reccomend Dr. Bartley to anyone. My whole family and numerus friends trust Dr. Bartley as a Physician.
