A number of years ago, Culvahouse attempted to withhold my biopsy slides and reports from my new doctors. He tried to pressure me into surgery that was unnecessary and said he alone would decide how many of my organs he would remove - yet NONE needed to be removed. My new doctors were livid. He misdiagnosed my condition and and plans to make me infertile. At the hands of my new doctors, all my organs were preserved for child bearing successfully.

Dr. Culvahouse delivered my daughter 5 years ago via unplanned c-section. He was not actually my OBGYN, but filled in in her absence. He was fantastic, and actually improved the appearance of a horrible existing scar from an emergency surgery 1.5 years prior. My current scar is hardly even visible. I had a speedy recovery, and he was extremely pleasant. I would go back to him im a heartbeat if I still lived in the area.

Dr. Culvahouse operated on my first c section 3 years ago. After my second c-section a year ago I can tell you he was rude, careless, unhelpful. I understand that 1st time can be more complicated but from the way I felt for 2 years (unable to sleep in any position other than my back, constant uncomfortable feeling in abdomen, ugly scarring etc) I must say he was horrible. At my second c-section, the Dr. spent double the time stitching me up. I feel like a new woman now, my body is so much stronger.

I was a patient of Dr. Culvahouse for less than 2 years and unfortunately, he is no longer able to practice however, I had to submit my comment. Dr. Culvahouse; patient, understanding, great at listening, open to working with options, great bedside manners, warm and made me feel comfortable - every office visit. A wonderful person and doctor who is greatly missed in this field.

DR. CULVAHOUSE IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR & SURGEON. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF HIS FOR 5 YEARS. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND UNDERSTANDING. HE HAS VERY GOOD BEDSIDE MANNERS. HE IS EASY-GOING AND GENTLE. WE MISS HIM DEARLY, SO SORRY HE IS NOT ABLE TO PRACTICE RIGHT NOW.
