Dr. Terebelo cured my husbands cancer 15 years ago. My husband still sees him on a regular basis. My husband has a good patient/doctor relationship with Dr. T. We are grateful for his choice of work to help people and accept any of the flaws he may have. He is a good man. Who is perfect? Have you ever thought of how it would be to actually be a doctor who cares for cancer patients? He has a tough job.

Although he can be abrupt, he is honest, tells it like it is, always open to questions, really cared about my husband, who he treated for 36 months before his death. I would recommend him to any patient. May not be a "warm and fuzzy" doctor, but believe he is knowledgeable and always took every step possible to help my husband, even refereing him to a clinical trial at another hospital.

Runs hot and cold. If you see him on 'cold day', watch out. Caustic, arrogant, treats people (and colleagues) as their presence is a nusance. Occ. says things regarding colleagues in earshot of patient that is very unprofessional. Other times, he is wonderful. Upside is when it's a good day, he is very good. On a bad day, he can be a tyrant. The rare apology is almost an apology, but listen carefully and he still slams away. A bit too erratic.

Dr. Terebelo is a wonderful doctor. He has helped me and my wife during my battle with lymphoma. He is extremely knowledgeable, keeps up with the research and journals, and is always a step ahead of the game. Sometimes, when you read cancer magazines, you hear stories of patients sharing new information with their oncologists, but Dr. Terebelo knows it all already. He's quick to make adjustments in your treatment as needed, but he does expect that you will follow his orders and actually undergo the treatments; painful as they are, they are the only way to survive. If you don't, you're just wasting his time, and he doesn't appreciate that any more than any other professional would. But he'll answer any and all questions you have; he's a walking encyclopedia of cancer & treatment information.
