If we had to stop right now life would be fine! Jack cares about people a lot and it shows in how he helps people think about their issues and find actions to help relationships improve and also get more self confidence and awareness of themselves. Great doctor.

Dr. Chinsky was helpful when I was having issues with depression when going through a break-up with my partner. I find him to be understanding, experienced and a good listener. I recommend him if you're looking for a top-notch psychologist in CT.

asked questions not appropriate and gets off topic. elusive and not guiding in his interventions to help couples work out their differences. judges your interactions rather than recognizing communication styles. thumbs down.

As with all treatment of this sort, you have to go into it wanting to get the problem fixed. I've battled a problem with Internet sexual addiction for a number of years and with the help of a loving wife and Dr. Jack we've been able to keep the marriage together and kick the habit. I liked the fact Dr. Jack was hesitant to prescribe medication, instead working with us to be honest and open the lines of communication. It's difficult, but most of the tough things in life have the best rewards and keeping my wife as my best friend is worth everything.

Truthfully, I was a wreck when I first started counseling afraid of everyone and everything. Dr. Chinsky has helped me learn alot about myself and how to deal with situations that are difficult to me. I am grateful that Dr Chinsky is my therapist. He is a very kind and compassionate person. Dr. Chinsky is #1 in my book!!

I've been seeing Dr. Chinsky since January 2009. He is an excellent listener. Each time I see him, I leave with some new insight about myself or my personal relationships. As a person with spiritual beliefs in the minority, I find Dr. Chinsky's knowledge of Eastern Religions refreshing. Other folks have implied that he breaks up marriages. While I'm not married, he has helped me improve my relationship with my fiance. Any time he has shared something about himself, it has been to illustrate a point. I talk 90% of the time. I look forward to seeing him and thanks to him I'm learning to trust my own wisdom. A good doctor or therapist should help you find your own answers. Dr. Chinsky does exactly that.

He did not value the importance of preserving our longterm marriage. Instead he enhanced my ex husband's wishes to get "happy" by leaving the marriage. Don't trust him a dime.

Not trustworthy. My husband went to him in between and I was told that they did not at all talk about our relationship. Next thing I know my husband wants a divorce. He does not like anyone to question him. He actually stood up to bully me to prove he is in charge. Not at all good for couples.

Very helpful in counseling my husband and I through marriage difficulties. He listened and asked some tough questions that needed to be asked. Would recommend for couples counseling.
