I have been a patient of Dr. Fieldler's for approximately 12 years now. She has helped me tremendously with my hair loss due to Alopecia areata. Dr. Fieldler has always worked with me to find the best treatments for my disease. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and is on the cutting edge of treatments for hair loss. I recommend Dr. Fiedler if you are suffering with hair loss.

Dr Fiedler makes patients wait excessive amounts of time in the office. I've had an appt with my daughter scheduled for 9 am so she would miss only a tiny bit of school, and at 9:15 the Dr. arrived in the office, and we still waited an additional 20 minutes before we were seen and we were her first appt of the day. Having to schedule appts 6 months out when you are experiencing hair loss is ridiculous, you need help sooner rather than later, that's why you see her in the first place. I've driven up to Milwaukee to find someone else. She may have been good at what she does years ago, but there have been other medical updates that I wonder if she keeps up on. Skip the visit

Dr. Fiedler very knowledgeable. She tends to over schedule her appointments, so often times there will be long delays. She was able to help me get some regrowth.

The staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful. Dr. Fiedler seems to know a lot about her field, but she is not good at thinking outside of the box. If you are not willing, or able, to follow her line of treatment, you may be out of luck.

My hair had been falling out excessively for about 2 years, and I had seen a variety of doctors by the time I saw Dr. Fiedler. I'm a woman and my hair is one of my best features, so I was very upset by the hair loss. Dr. Fiedler immediately suspected an allergic reaction, and skin patch testing revealed I was reacting to common shampoo ingredients (and especially the medicated shampoos prescribed by other doctors); she suggested hypo-allergenic shampoos and a cortisone lotion. I also had a low ferritin count and needed an iron supplement. I found her to be very kind and considerate, and I really liked that she looks at every possible factor that could be contributing to hair loss, including diet. After a few months of treatment, my hair started to grow back normally. She is rather expensive, but if you are upset about your hair loss, she is worth every penny! I submitted the claims to my insurance company after each appointment and did receive reimbursement for part of the costs.

She is world renowned and premier cited Dr on hair loss in the literature. She got my hair to grow back, but unfortunately, the medicine started to bother me.She cured my scalp eczema with pure jojoba oil in two weeks. She is very particular which product for which pt. She cannot take medicare for legal reasons. Insurance doesn't cover hair loss. She was and I think is still head of dermatology ot the U of Illinois. She has helped me with peculiar skin rashes or referred me when saw they were not being treated properly even tho that is not her specialty. Well worth the money. She also helped with allergy problems.
