I read some of the other comments and found some of them way off base in my opinion. I have been a patient of Dr. Miller for 23 years, and have never had a bad experience. I went to him to treat UC and he did all of the diagnostics, the surgery, and all follow up with great care and professionalism. I have always know the staff to be professional and courteous, as well. Some of the remarks in other comments regarding over-booking patients I believe are unfounded. Dr. Miller takes his time and listens to his patients while in the examining room, he does not rush you out so he can get the next patient in. This sometimes makes the wait a few minutes longer for the patients in the waiting room, but, it's a fair trade in my opinion. Unfortunately, my post here will no help future patients because Dr. Miller has had to close his practice due to a serious illness and is no longer seeing patients. I wanted to comment only because I saw some hateful comments posted. Thanks, Brian Look

Dr. Miller & his staff are kind and professional. My husband and I both appreciate the small staff & personal attention you receive from them. Dr. Miller is quite knowledgeable.

Dr. Miller has been my gp for about 10 yrs. and 5 yrs. for gastroenterology. He has always been kind and able to diagnose on 1st visit. He has a small staff which means that they rembember who you are very quickly and are not just a number. When ill, I always get an appointment the same day and rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.

He overbooks his patients. After waiting an hour and a half in his waiting room, they told me "Dr.Miller can't see you today, would you like to reschedule?"

Doctor is very professional and pleasant. There's a weird guy at the receptionist desk who seems to be on the edge of a perve though. Once you get past him, you're in good hands.

A member of Dr. Miller's staff made rude and inappropriate comments to my sister regarding the type of exam she had. She was embarrassed to report the situation to Dr. Miller but others who have that experience should make their feelings known. It is completely unacceptable behavior.

I must correct this doctors speciality, he is now a general practice doctor not a GI specialist. When I visited his office I was expecting a doctor who specialized in just digestive disorders, but thats not what I recieved. Dr Miller was pleasant for the first vist, but when my husband and became upset because of the merry-go-round that he had us on he shurgged us off. Dr Miller did run some tests but not enough to discover any problem that I had. His answer was always I will know more later. But the problem is when later is now, there is no answer. He tried only one medication with me, and when it did not work, I asked if there was something else he could try, he said no, and that was that. Dr Miller may be a good GP but when you have a specialized problem he is just not the right doctor.

The office staff were kind and professional. The wait was about 10 minutes. The doctor listens to my concerns and examines me and explains what the problem is and then treats me. He is prompt in returning telephone calls.
