I have always received excellent care from Bette over the years. She takes the time to listen to me and my concerns. Her MOA goes the extra mile.

Betty was so helpful when I went in for an injury to my shoulder. She asked questions, listened, was interested in natural methods, great with my stressed out teenager and just an all around great doctor! I really hope she never leaves this practice! I'd follower her to another clinic if she did. If you choose to see Betty you'll be we'll taken care of!!

I've been very pleased with Betty. She always takes her time, listens, gives helpful suggestions and asks questions to help determine cause and effect. I'm a fairly new patient but find her friendly & very easy to talk to. I'm shocked by the other feedback as I just referred some friends to her who are looking for a GP.

My daughter has a history of sinus infections and viruses that worsen her asthma. She had a virus that seemed to be turning into a sinus infection, and we saw Betty Lenehan. Betty dismissed all my concerns, did not listen when I tried to review the asthma doctor's instructions in her file, and was extremely rude. My daughter ended up with a sinus infection, causing us to see the asthma doctor on an emergency basis. Further interaction with Dr. Thomson in this practice was disastrous as well. We will never return.

Dr. Lenehan (Nurse Practictioner)tried, unsuccessfully, to treat my eye infection. After a week of using the antibiotic eye drops and my eye was no better, she had to call in another doctor, who also didn't know. They eventually ended up getting me an appointment with an Opthmologist, who said that the medicine Dr. Lenehan had prescribed, was old technology. The new medicine cured me very quickly. Dr. Lenehan did call me to follow up but I think she was worried because she hadn't been able to cure the infection. I also had another experience during a PAP test with her, that she was rough and it was somewhat painful. She is very abrupt and doesn't take the time to know the patient, but just hurries through things and moves on. I still go to Corvallis Family Medicine but will NEVER go back to Dr. Lenehan.

She's actually a FNP but I chose her as my PCP. Went in for a PAP. She pinched me so hard with the Speculum, I spotted for 9 days. When I said "Ouch! You're hurting me!" she asked how long I could tolerate the pain. I was shocked at her answer and said "uh, no longer!" She refused to remove it and simply said she would "hurry." Never apologized. Didn't show any concern over my obvious distress (it really did hurt and I had a hard time keeping still). I also had a blood panel done and wanted my hormones tested due to symptoms I had been experiencing. She refused, said my symptoms didn't warrant the test. (Insomnia and mood swings.) I then asked her for advice on treating toenail fungus. I said I had used tea tree oil. No, she said, use Melaleuca Oil. I later found out Melaleuca Oil is the given name for Tea Tree Oil. I wrote the clinic (Corvallis Family Medicine) of my experience and received a standard form letter apologizing for my "experience". I never returned.
