What a fun doctor's visit. If you don't get along with her staff you are not trying. Dr. Myers was super - explained everything and told me the course of treatment and why.

I have been seeing Dr. Myers for almost 20 years at a variety of locations. She has always answered my questions and will discuss different treatment options with respect to what insurance will pay. As my insurance changes, she and her nurse always work with me to make sure my new prescriptions are sent to the correct pharmacy. I have seen her at four different offices but will make the effort to follow her anywhere in Shelby County.

My doctor gave this doctor's name as a recommendation along with 2 others. Couldn't even get past the front desk to schedule an appointment. The woman answering the phone as the operator is incompetent and rude. I'll find my own doctor.

My husband is a patient of hers and he has not seen her in over a year. He always sees the nurse practitioner. He has an awful time getting the correct prescriptions and dealing with the office staff. I can't believe he has stuck with her for several years. Time for a new doctor! I marked knowledge as good, but we really don't know that to be a fact.

I visited this office in July of last year. I waited over 3 hours to see the doctor. The staff at the front desk is always rude. Especially when you call in to try and schedule. It is also very hard to schedule. I was due for a follow up in January and needed to reschedule, they couldn't accommodate me. I called again recently to try and get rescheduled and they told me I could not be seen until mid to late August.

Doctor spend majority of appointment discussing her night out with her nurse. Was not interested in listening to health issues/concerns related to condition. When labs came back, I called to speak to her because my medication needed to be adjusted based on my labs. Staff did not care. Nurse was incredibly rude. Would not recommend this doctor.

This clinic really needs a patient website. It is so hard to get through to the doctor to ask a question on medication that has been prescribed. I have been recently rediagnosed from a Type 2 to Type 1 diabetic. The only person I can get to call me back is a nurse who is giving me 2nd hand answers. I am very frustrated with this office. On my first visit there was a man who came in without an appointment who had questions about a pump. He had called several times and could get no one to return his calls so he instead came into the office to get his answers. That should have told me something then. If they had a patient's portal like they do with BMG groups I think the answers would come more readily but they don't ...so I stay confused.

Dr. Myers is one Dr. that I really look forward to going to see. She is very personable and fun. She does tell it like it is but not in a manner that does not make you mad but makes you want to do better. You can talk to her about anything and she will answer you. She also take time to go over everything that you want to talk about so you don't leave feeling like you don't know what's going on or feeling short changed. Would very highly recommend.

She is very blunt and will tell you the truth. She does not beat around the bush. She can be very helpful if you have your BS readings on paper so she can review them with you. Dont bother bringing in your carelink, they can not upload it at the office.
