I recently underwent hip replacement surgery on January 6/23. I was extremely fortunate to have Dr. Draper as my anesthesiologist. I met with him a week before my surgery and spent time thoroughly discussing my health history before the operation. Met Dr. Draper the morning of my surgery and he reassured me of the procees. Met again in the recovery room and he saw me before my discharge that afternoon. Can’t say enough regarding his commitment to patient care. Richmond General is lucky to have Dr. Draper as their anesthesiologist.

I have undergone several surgeries in my life . None of the anesthesiologists can hold a candle to Dr. Paul Draper. Dr Draper is very knowledgeable , patient , has excellent bed manners and is willing to the patient's concerns regardless of how how inquisitive the patient is. If, God forbids , I would have to undergo yet another surgery , I would pray that Dr.Paul Draper would be assigned as my anesthesiologist.
All the best to you , Dr Draper . I will always remember your gentle , wonderful bed manners , your sense of humour and , most of all , the way you managed to make me
peaceful prior to my surgery.

I just had sinus surgery yesterday, and Dr. Draper was my Anesthesiologist, he made me so Comfortable! It was my first surgery so I was very nervous, he has a sense of humour, and a comfort about him, he is very knowledgeable. He is the reason I was so calm the whole morning right up to the surgery room. This doctor absolutely deserve the most respect, he cares so much about his patients.

I had sinus surgery today and Dr. Draper was my anesthesiologist, and he was SO kind and compassionate. I was very nervous and he put me at ease. Anyone who has him as their anesthesiologist is in great hands! Highly recommended. He is a truly, truly great human.

My wife and I visited Dr. Draper on May 30, 2022 regarding my wife's hip surgery. We were not on the schedule, and waited for the doctor to finish his session with the last patients of the day. When they finished it was well after the end of the business hours. Yet Dr. Draper started working with us right away without even taking a small break. He was thorough, attentive, reassuring and professional, and being in no hurry despite the late hours. It was necessary to physically go and find some documents that were missed by the hospital stuff - which he did. Subsequently those turned out to be important for the coming surgery.

Overall, we want to highly recommend Dr. Draper, thank him for his professional help and wish that all the physicians to be like him.

Dr Draper is the BEST. He has been my anaesthetist for two major surgeries and both times he was fabulous. In the past I have been very sick following anaesthetic, however Dr Draper had a few tricks up his sleeve and both times I woke up feeling pretty darn good! Aside from that he is friendly, helpful and patient - never seems to be in a rush.

I went with my husband to see Dr Draper before he went in for his op. He is one of the nicest Dr's I have ever met. He explained everything in Language that we understood, and put my husbands and my minds at ease. I would without a doubt recommend him to any of my friends or family. Great Guy Great Doctor and a great sence of humour
