The worst doctor of the worst staff I have been trying to get my medicine for over 5 months which is pre-approved and they cannot seem to send the prescription to the pharmacy

I have had several biopsy's that were very painful, But here at Dr. Melinda Musick office never even knew when they give me meds to numb the area on my leg or didn't even feel them giving me stitches. But I do have a terrible rash on both legs that is going up to belly and arms also, they creams and ointments I have giving or not helping, But we do keep trying, Dr Musick is always very nice to me.

On my 2nd appointment, when I insisted on a skin scraping, culture, biopsy or some sort of test to determine the origin or sore I had on my nose for 6 months, they threw me out & told me to go to Birmingham. Really?? I have to go to Birmingham for a dermatologist to test the cause of sores on my skin? Bye Bye Dr Musick... you should retire!

After about 10 years with another dermatologist, I switched to Melinda about 18 months ago. Terrific doctor! I learned more about my particular problem (rosacea) in about 10 minutes than I did over 10 years with my previous doctor. Also, she has precise, correct solutions to precise problems. I have had excellent experience with her office staff and waiting times have been short. Her "head to toe" was something to experience - it concluded with her on her knees on the floor, inspecting between each of my toes. I mention this because I think it illustrates that Melinda is driven to provide good care for her patients.

I waited 1 year for the appointment. I got there 30 minutes early and waited 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time. No staff memeber said a word to me about the delay. I finally got up and left.

I had a rash on my ankle and requested a biopsy to determine the problem. She took the biopsy a full inch away from the rash and guess what the result was. You have no problem. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Not a very thorough head to toe exam and seems overly concentrated with cosmetic rather than purely medical issues.

Excellent doctor, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She cares and listens and takes time with each patient. I wish I could hire her as my family doctor. Anyone with any skin problems should definitely request to see Dr. Musick.
