I was referred to Dr. S. G. ESmail by my GP due to excessive pain from back surgery . at my first few visits I was accompanied by a person in the Medical profession. Dr esmail was proffessional and through in his testing and confirmed my complaints . He prescribed different hopeful remidies , one that was rather successfull had serious side effects that prevented me from gainfull employment. He WAS EMPHATIC THAT FURTHER FURTHER SURGERY WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION DUE TO excessive post op surgery. During one of my later visits I asked if marijaunna may help with the pain. H e got out some manual and said it would cause psychiatric and other problems. I found some relief from regular workouts , cardio excerises body pump exercises etc . about 10 or 12 years later my GP referred me back to Dr Esmail for consultation as I was experiencing unexpected back pain. He said I might require more back surgery. I reminded him that due excessive post op scare tissue he didn.t recommend further surgery. The appoinment quickly went south and he ended the interview. That I estimate wae about 12 years ago.

Dr. Esmail is a fantastic neurologist. He is one of the only doctors that isn't condescending. He tells you like it is without being dismissive. He genuinely is a very nice doctor and truly caring. I left his office feeling better about his diagnosis. You will be fortunate to have him as a doctor.

I don't think I can say enough about Dr. Esmail. He was probably the best doctor for my husband to be able to see. They connected really well and I think my husband may even have listened to him. Lol! Great Doctor!
