We never have long wait times, he is very personable to myself and my kids. Would recommend this office to others. It's better than a lot of them out there!

I love(loved) Dr. Southwick. Been there for years. But His newest receptionist is arrogant and a bit condescending to myself and others. I dread even going back....Lately Dr S. Has been rushed and less then attentive when he finally comes in (longest I've waited was an hour and a half).. IM strongly considering a new doc.

Extremely helpful..we did not have ins and he gave us our expensive mess for free..was very helpful and submitted a lengthy and detailed report to SS to help me get disability..never feel rushed...he always carefully explains all options and we were never left questioning...diagnosis was right on..never makes you feel like a pest.

He is very personable and knowledgeable. He never makes us feel stupid when we come into the office. I have 2 teenage boys and he always addresses them respectfully and talks directly to them about their concerns. At the end of each visit he asks, "Is there anything else you need to know or I can help you with?" They always go through the insurance and don't bill us for unnecessary items or procedures. The entire office staff are extremely helpful and nice. I have never felt it is about the money at Family First.

We have been patients for about 3 years,and have had 2 out of 5 kids misdiagnosed. Our oldest daughter has had reacuring UTI's and all we got from him for almost 2 years was that she wasn't wiping good enough. He also told me I needed to stop nursing our baby because he didn't think I had any nutrients in my milk, but that was also a mistake, she stayed small even on formula. He has left us feeling like he dosn't know what he is doing, and that they are after our money, and our health isn't important. We have trusted him as our Dr and have found out that he was completely wrong with the way he was treating our kids. He hasn't done anything to try and fix or help the situation. We don't feel like valued patients or that he cares about our health. All we have wanted is for him to care enough to fix the mistakes that he made, but he hasn't done anything. We are very disapointed and wouldn't recommend Family First to anyone.

great family doctor good with kids dosent make you feel stupid if you bring your kids in alot very helpful if he dosent know exactly he will find out or find you a doctor that you can talk to great!!!!
