DO Not go to this doctor! Dirty office and charges out of control prices for non service. Worst experience of my life.

Dr. Paparone told me that he was confused by my results. My elisa was positive but the western blot only showed 1 antibody to the bacteria. For western blot to be positive, you need to have 5 different antibodies. Then he asked if I were depressed and pointed out that I was divorced. I didn't get too upset about it because I think he was grasping at a diagnosis. I don't appreciate that he couldn't admit he did not know how to diagnose me.

It's not worth attempting to see the person based on ratings. Since I must travel out of State to see a LLMD, I will not waste time or money on arrogant wanna bee DO's. In life, it's about what you want to be, and becoming a DO is easier than an MD. Obviously he has missed the point in both attempts. NO THANK YOU

Did not run any tests. Dismissed me, too, by reading my lab reports from another doctor who told me I did not have Lyme. It was a Nurse Practioner who DID run tests from a different lab that proved positive for Lyme. A year later a Lyme Literate MD in Redbank treated me for Late Lyme, too late for me.

Awful Doc. After testing positive for Lyme, he stated that I didn't have Lyme. He said he had never heard of the neurological symptoms that I was having from Lyme disease. He told me he wouldn't treat me, and that I should see a psychologist. He shouldn't even be practicing medicine. This man is handing out hundreds of death sentences every year.

Dr Paparone treated my mother for Latent Neurological Lymes Disease, he was always so good with her (she is elderly and confused) he was very kind and considerate. He always listened to my concerns and loaned me medical information so that I could further educate myself on the diverse symptoms to help me in my career as a Registered Nurse. I would highly recommend his services.

Dr Paparone was the worst Dr I have ever seen and I have seen many. I have a broad range of symptoms that are difficult to diagnose and have been to several specialists and infectious disease doctors. Typically they will spend about 30 to 40 minutes asking me questions and diagnosing me. Dr. Paparone probably spent about 5 minutes asking questions and basically patted me on the head and told me I am O.K. He couldn't have been more dismissive. To give you one example of something he missed, I complained of dizziness and cognitive difficulties. He did not shine a light into my eyes and have me follow it. A few weeks later another doctor did just this and discovered that I have neuropathy on my left side. My left eye does not track a light and this is due to an infectious disease that I have that will get worse without treatement. My reflexes on my left side are also impaired. He missed that too. I could go on and on. Basically he missed everything. What gives? Why is he a doctor?

This was probably the worst doctor I've ever been to. He wrote me off saying that I "probably have viral meningitis" and to "take Darvocet for the pain and see me in a week". My Lyme titer was high and I have 99% of the Lyme symptoms. After waiting an hour, he spent a total of 6 minutes with me. I don't know how this man can be considered a LLMD. He's horrible and shouldn't be considered a Lyme specialist. I know more about the disease and symptoms than he does!!!!
