He botched my surgery in 2013 and I am now on disability. If he botches yours don't make the mistake I made by not suing him for malpractice. When he checked on me I smelled alcohol on his breath. It was a routine left ventricle repair. I flatlined and was shocked back to life. He asked my family permission to leave my chest open to figure out what happened. I went into that surgery a solid six feet and 195lb and left two weeks later 165lbs. Over the last seven years i have had Cath erizations and numerous procedures to shock my heart back into my rthymn I regret not suing this man every day. Now I am on disability

He is a great dr. My heart was beating at 10% I went into surgery my heart had stopped and he helped saved my life.I can't think of a better doctor.

Dr. Milano was the only doctor willing to touch my mother's heart. At the time that her disease had attacked it she was consider very, very high risk with not much of chance of survival. We had her airlifted to Duke. He was is truly amazing doctor! He not only saved her life but he gave my mom hope when other doctors had turned their backs on us. He's the best! His staff and fellows are wonderful professionals as well.

In 2004 only 1/3 of my heart was working. Dr. Milano did a ventricular restoration and a double bypass operation and now my heart is working fine. The last visit to Duke Hospital they did some test and said that my heart is now working normally. Thank you Dr. Milano.
