Have been a patient for over 25 years. Staff makes you "beg" for anything. They need to remember that without patients they would not have a job. Manager is absolutely guilty of the same behavior.. He, however, is a wonderful doctor. Can stroke the ego of the staff to get what I need. Would not change doctors for anything in the world

Dr. Schmidt has been my doctor for years and has always been wonderful. I have never been very sick, but he has always taken care of whatever I need. He is friendly, caring and knowledgable.

Dr. Schmidt has the blend of intelligent and warmth that makes him the perfect doctor. I have never felt rushed and have been well taken care of for 20 years. I agree that his staff could use an attitude adjustment.

Hands down the best doctor I've ever been to. Kind and knowledgable; takes the time to listen. The staff leaves something to be desired, but to be fair they are probably overworked. Waiting room in office is too small for number of patients -- one time there was no place to sit. My only complaint is that he does not take my insurance.

I know doctors that go to Dr. Schmidt for consultation and treatment. The man is absolutely the most knowledgeable physician I have ever been to. Highly regarded by his peers, and he shoots straight. If you want a hug and a lollypop, go somewhere else, but if you want a true medical evaluation by someone who maintains the highest level of education in his field, Dr. Schmidt is who to see. I have been seeing him for over 25 years, he tells me when I'm fat, he tells me straight up about lifestyle habit changes I need to make, and he is very supportive when I have a complaint. I read complaints about his staff here; they are extremely busy and can at times seem impatient or stressed out. Maybe they should be a little more caring but I look beyond that to the professional I am there to see.

not kind or caring at all. 106 degree temperature and didn't want my husband to "bother" him. Was misdiagnosed- have not gone back. I think he is probably a very good doctor, but if you are extremely ill- go elsewhere.

My experience has been that Dr. Schmidt is a very good doctor and I know that he has an excellent reputation. I have to agree with other reviewers that there are some staff members who seem unhappy with their jobs and irritated by the patient. They are not very welcoming and one was actually bordering on rude when I called and requested that blood test results be mailed. On another occasion, a different person answered when I called and she was very accommodating so maybe they're addressing the problem. The phlebotomist was very skilled. She was pleasant and there was no pain when drawing blood.

Dr. Schmidt has been very helpful to my family for years. I am changing doctors due to location, however, I am leary on whether I will find another doctor as knowledgeable.

there is no better doctor than dr. scmidt. he cares for me , my wife and my grown children . we all feel like he is a genuine and caring man who takes as much time as necessary to diagnose and treat us. he's always there for us and he is very honest and straight with us.we would never ever consider going to another doctor. however, we have a very difficult time with his staff. they give you the impression that you are bothering them.they can be rude and very short with you. i've found them to be lacking in people skills and it has caused some stree for us but not enough to leave the services of dr. scmidt
