I had an Endometrial Ablation Experience in my early 20's. What the doctor who performed it failed to tell me was that even after EA, hormonal responses are still experienced by the body. Since my ovaries still function, my body was attempting to create a new life with every ovulation. I experienced this for more than 15 years during each ovulatory cycle. This resulted in endometrial regrowth, an overgrowth of uterine lining, uterine polyps, and pelvic pain over time. I went six years and saw three gynecologists before it was recommended by Dr. Vukojevic that I undergo a biopsy. Dr. Vukojevic suspected that I had endometrial cancer. Sadly she was unable to perform a successful endometrial biopsy due to all the uterine scarring. Since cancer may be missed behind the adhesion it was recommended that I undergo a complete hysterectomy. My hysterectomy was successful and no cancer was found. Cancer could have developed. Dr. Vukojevic, saved by left and I highly recommend her. I am sorry that your experience was not a positive one, but I found her compassionate, experienced and to have an excellent bedside manner.

So happy I found Dr. Vukojevic. She delivered my first baby via c-section. That was not the plan but thanks to her I felt at ease and had a successful operation with no issues. She is a very busy doctor with many patients but makes you feel important and remembers details about you. Shes very knowledgeable. I wouldn't recommend her and I thank her!

Even though Dr.V is very busy, I never felt rushed. .She is very thorough and gives the facts that a patient requires, AND makes sure you understand what her plan is to address your specific ailment. She is 100%

She was my surgeon. Honestly she was so amazing. I was terrified and really difficult during surgery prep, and she accommodated every one of my complaints about being poked and what not. She held my hand when I was being put to sleep, she was rubbing my head while I cried when they tried to take blood, like she's just so lovely.

Duska Vukojevic is an amazing doctor. She is highly knowledgeable, relatable, kind, and works very hard. She was my obstetrician for all 5 of my children, and has made a real impact on my life. I would recommend her to any woman that is pregnant, or in need of gynecological care. You are in safe hands when you are with Dr. Vukojevic.
