The receptionist said he was admitting someone to the hospital and would be a few minutes late. One hour later Dr. Hoffman finally came into the room. He was very awkward and weird. I was there for an injury, but 90% of the time he was telling me I was obese and he needed to tell me that because Obama said so. It was very odd and uncomfortable. I asked for pain meds for my injury and he said if I need those I must be doing something wrong. I was very unhappy with how rude he was after I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment. I do not recommend him to anyone. He was the only doctor available on short notice. I realize he was the only one available because no one else wanted to see him either.

I can't disagree with anything the previous posters said. He has been my family doctor since I was a child and had seen me through five rounds of meningitis, surgeries and two children. I would recommend no other.

Dr. Hoffmann has been my family Dr. for about 17 years. He has delivered 2 of my children. He is a wonderful Dr. He listens and cares very much for his patients. He also works very well with his nurse. They work well together and make you feel comfortable. I could not imagin going to anyone else. My girls love going to see him. It make going to the Dr. so much easier.

Dr. Hoffmann runs typically an hour later; however, that's only because he takes time with his patients and never pushes them out the door. He'll always listen. Some might think his personality is a bit unusall; however, he's a kind and caring man.

Dr. Hoffman is knowledgeable, experienced, and well loved in the community. He listens and explains conditions, treatments, and medications well. He doesn't just educate the patients, he educates the whole community. He also is one of the official baby greeters at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. I should know because he greeted my youngest and he wasn't even my primary. He has patients of various ages who all speak very highly of him-I also have had an opportunity to work with him and I am very impressed with his compassion he shows to his patients. He is "in a league of his own."
