Love Dr. Schwartz - my entire office goes to him for their various skin issues. We call him Dr. No-bedside-manner-no-sense-of-humor Schwartz. It took me 10 years to get him to laugh. He's just very dry. "You're beyond Restaline, you need Pearlane - bigger molecule -those lines of yours are really deep." He's a magician with Pearlane, Restaline and Botox and very reasonable. You have to be prepared for him to be very abrupt: "OK take your blouse off." By the time you take off your top, he's already blasting away at your sun spots. Next time, I'm going to go "Jeez, Dr. S, Don't I even get a little kiss first??" It is my mission in life to get him to crack a smile. He's very direct and no bull. He will tell you what it is a waste of time to put on your face and write you an near lifetime RX for RetinA - the skincare equivalent of Walking on the moon. The ins companies won't cover it, so get it at Costco for $50 for a big tube.

Dr. Schwartz exhibited very poor patient skills. He failed to introduce himself, failed to provide a gown after instructing me to disrobe, failed to explain his diagnosis, failed to explain procedures before conducting them, and performed procedures unrelated to chief complaint without consent. He then left the examination room without any further explanation.

Dr. came into treatment room, made a moment of small talk, checked my skin problem and took action, even without telling me what he's going to do...he did what needed to be done and exited the room with a smile wishing me well. A very good doctor. Who needs the talk?!

Going to this Dr. was one of the worst experiences I've had ... He attempted to perform a procedure without telling me what he was going to do. He criticised something about my appearance, and I left in tears.

i will always be indebted to dr. schwartz. i suffered from severe acne when i was a teenager and he helped me get rid of it. he was always no non sense but you could tell he was concerned with me. he is very intelligent and knows his stuff. if your life is on the line when it comes to dermatological problems, he is your man. trust me.

Dealing with this doctor's front office / billing practices was so frustrating that they placed a ding on my credit report despite an obvious oversight on their behalf. I complained to my insurance company, which I'd suggest you do if you have the same experience as I did. What was most frustrating is that Dr. Schwartz himself refused to even hear my concerns about his front office's billing practices. And thus, I share my frustrations with you.

He took very little time actually examining my problem areas. I told him what a previous doctor suggested which did not work and he basically told me that I should continuing doing what wasn't working. HUH????? He let me ask all the questions I wanted but didn't really give much heed to my concerns. The pharmacist I went to suggested that I try a different over the counter medication since what I had been doing wasn't working. She was right and should have gotten paid for the office visit!
