Dr. Athwart and his team of fellows and residents are among the best of the best. I had a complete reverse shoulder replacement. The team recommended a. nerve block procedure, which was a first for me. The doctors explain step by step what was going to happen. I was at first apprehensive but the explanation made it easy and painless. Hats off to your great team (all of them).

I had a very acute and severe fracture, he operated, and my shoulder is back to normal. Great care!

Dr Athwal is the best! Very down to earth and approachable. My surgeon, who does shoulder replacements, sent me to see Dr Athwal. I was referred because I had a childhood problem of missing bone in my shoulder. My Doc said that Dr Athwal is the best surgeon in the world to help me with my problem. Two years after surgery, and my shoulder is better than ever! Thanks Dr A, you are the best at what you do. If you need a shoulder replacement, I would see Dr Athwal!

No question Dr Athwal is considered to be one of the best shoulder surgeons in Canada. I was fortunate to be referred to him recently. Polite, caring, but somewhat patronising when I requested clarification on one issue. Upsetting, but no reflection on his clinical skills.

Dr. George Athwal performed a reverse shoulder replacement on me a year ago. I was unable to use my arm for day to day tasks due to the severe shoulder pain. I had had an unsuccessful replacement done about 2 years prior to this surgery. I have been pain free since this surgery and now have excellent use of this shoulder. This doctor explains everything so clearly but never in an arrogant or condescending way. Dr. George Athwal is a real gentleman along with being a top notch orthopedic surgeon. I am a very grateful patient. He certainly deserves 5 stars in all categories.

Dr Ahthwal did a reverse shoulder replacement for me after a previous surgery was performed at a different hospital . This gentleman is a true professional in every sense of the word . My shoulder hasn't felt this good in a long time . He thoroughly checks everything and only then does he make his recommendations . The world needs more people like Dr Athwal . 5 stars everyday 10 outof 10 3 thumbs way up....thank you sir
