Biography

Thomas R. Lyons, MD is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr Lyons completed a Fellowship in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Shoulder/Elbow/Knee Surgery at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. He is Board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is affiliated with a number of national, regional and local medical societies including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Louisiana Orthopedic Association. Dr. Lyons is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery with the Tulane University School of Medicine. He has been in practice in the New Orleans metro area for over 20 years.
