    Dr. Mark J. Pamer's response
I am sorry to hear of your experience with me. People have been fed a lot of nonsense online during the COVID pandemic. Some patients have been very outspoken about their opinions on COVID or vaccines or any number of other related things based on what they have read on social media, heard from a misleading partisan news source, or just heard from someone else with no medical education. Many patients prefer their own confident, but incorrect, opinions over being challenged about their accuracy. I suspect this is what happened here. I often don't challenge someone's beliefs but I do have a fiduciary duty towards a patient's health. I usually politely just give patients the correct information, but there are times that some patients are so closed minded or arrogant about a false belief that it can become an argument. That should never happen but social media and politics seems to have unfortunately emboldened some people to be very confident about incorrect medical ideas they have; trying to replace those ideas with actual facts has sometimes been met with anger from the patient. My dedication is to your health. It's a fiduciary and sacred duty I take very seriously. I'm sorry we apparently didn't see eye to eye but I can assure you that I only had your actual health in my interests. I hope you found someone to effectively care for your needs. Peace to you, friend. - Dr. Pamer

have been a patient of Dr Pamer's for several years now. Throughout, he has guided me to better health and better quality of life. Every one of his staff have consistently provided excellent support and care to me. All listen attentively and do not rush me when I am expressing my needs and provide assistance in solutions. The office manager, Jennifer, has done everything to alleviate stress in dealing with insurance issues and is proactive in smoothing the process. I wish more doctors and their staff were as dedicated as they are.

Dr. Pamer is my third lung doctor and by far the best I've had. He and his staff went above and beyond and got me expensive meds for free. He spent more time with me than anyone else.

Dr. Pamer is one of the most brilliant, caring, physicians that I have had the luck to have found. He cares about his patients. He also takes all the time needed to find the problem and fix it. If you are lucky he will be your Pulmonologist. Iris Gibson

    Biography

This is a different medical practice than you may be used to. Here you’ll be treated with the respect and dignity you deserve. We believe that a medical office should be a peaceful and respectful place. We know that no one really likes going to the doctor, so we offer a beautiful practice setting with friendly and helpful staff, complementary refreshments, high-definition TVs in every room, and relaxing music. We believe the patient comes first and that everyone deserves the highest quality of care and customer service possible. We offer the same level of care to you that we would want for ourselves or our own loved ones. We will help you with your forms, referrals and appointments, and also find ways to help you reduce your personal health care costs. We believe in the importance of patient education. Here you will spend as much time with the doctor as you need to and your questions will be answered. We see fewer patients per day so that we can spend more time with you.
