My dad was a patient of Dr. Bonavita's and my brother and I continue to be patients of his.

Dr. is very knowledgeable and helpful to explain possible causes of my symptom with needed test. Very productive staff to keep me on the schedule at promised time.

He has a a very friendly office manner but a very short memory. I was his patient for close to 10 years yet he did not remember me when I had an issue with billing. (I was late in paying a $31.00 bill as I never pay a medical bill until after I have received notification from my insurance company stating what is the copayment, if any. I have had problems with doctors' offices double billing in the past. Then I was out of the country for over a month.) When I was discussing the billing issue with his office manager, she told me Bonavita did NOT know who I was. She excused this lapse of memory as normal as he has "Thousands" of patients. This is the man who discussed and asked advice from me about his daughters and shared about his son of whom he is quite proud. I was his patient for many years, yet he could not remember who I was. I felt betrayed by someone I trusted my life with. He lost a patient of many years over $31.00. It is just a business to him as I found out.

He was assigned to me in the ER and he has been very caring and wonderful in all follow up appointments. The office is very busy, but he will always take time to answer any questions I have. I am so happy to have him as my cardiologist. I feel he is interested in my health and he is a very kind man.
