She performed colonoscopy. Found precancerous polyps.....one SHE described as size of tangerine. She did not introduce herself to my husband. He had no idea to whom he was speaking. She told him everything went well. That was the extent of our information; I was still somewhat sedated. The following night i started hemorraging. At the ER there was blood on the floor, my clothes and the set of sheets were soaked I was told I would need a blood transfusion which thankfully I didn't have. I was in CCU for 2 days Dr Leverton never called to check on my condition while in hospital. Dr Jabor took over my care. Make your own decision.

Dr Leverton is very thorough, discreet and gentle. I could not ask for a better dr in her field and I been through several colonoscopies with other drs, who were also very good, but she is the best, She is not only kind and gentle but very empathetic and will help in any way possible to relieve the stress and to do what it takes to make you well.

Dr. Leverton has the most wonderful demeanor. Obviously if you are visiting her you are dealing with a sensitive issue. I was dealing with severe anal fissures due to childbirth. So - she worked with me and came up with an alternative treatment that helped me heal for the first time in 8 years. She is a wonderful physician and you would be glad if you work with her.

I was ready to cancel a major surgery due to what I thought were hemorrhoids. I was in terrible pain that could not be relieved in any way. I went through BOXES of OTC suppositories and salves. Before she even eximined me, she suspected it was something else from the multiple symptoms and length of time. She was right, I had ulcerative proctitus caused from radiation the previous year. She did a colonoscopy to confirm and had my pain under control in 48 hrs. In the hospital for an unrelated surgery, I developed a large lump which I thought was a blood clot from being in the hospital bed. She came right over to the hospital, checked me out and confirmed THAT was an actual hemorrhoid. I had never had one before. She was there for me before surgery, diagnosed and treated a painful condition and then came right over when I needed her in the hospital. She is excellent with a SUPERB bedside manner. I definitely recommend her.
