This Doctor and his staff is amazing. It reminds me of the old time "Family Doctor". The staff is amazing and also the billing department has been so helpful. This is one of the best experiences I have had

When I dragged myself to Dr. Horizon's office with an MRI report in my hand which showed 3 serious fractures in my spine, I was looking at a very gloomy future. One evening while walking in my garden, I fell down in a deep hole left by my careless gardener. I was having horrifying pain. Any movement – walking, sitting, lying down – and terrifying pain was taking control of my body. Tears were running down my face. I tried to hold myself not to keep screaming. Those were the darkest days of my life. My future was dead or confined to a wheelchair the rest of my life. Then Dr. Horizon saved my life! Every day when I walk freely, sit down, lie down, I remember my darkest days and am so thankful to Dr. Horizon who enabled me to get my life back. All I can say is he is a very rare gem – God's gift to his patients - and THE BEST OF THE BEST! Also, his staff were always polite and helpful during my recovery. I will always be in debt to this great doctor. Gungor Demirezer

NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE DOCTOR IS, EVERYTHING STARTS AT A FRONT DESK. THIS ONE IS AN ABSOLUTE WORST. I DO NOT THINK I'VE EVER BEEN TO THE MEDICAL OFFICE WITH PERSONNEL SO NON-FRIENDLY, NON- CARING AND NON- COMPASSIONATE TOWARDS SICK PATIENT'S NEED. I WAS REFUSED SERVICE BY A RECEPTIONIST, EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AND I WAS IN PAIN . AT ANY COST AVOID ANY COMMUNICATION WITH "LUANNA"-RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND A WRONG PERSON TO WORK IN A MEDICAL FIELD.I HAVE A FEELING THAT DR. HORIZON DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN HIS FRONT OFFICE. HE IS A GOOD KNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTOR. JUST NEEDS NEW GOOD STAFF.

Dr. Horizon was able to diagnose an issue I've had when other doctors have only looked at part of the problem without thinking holistically. The issue I have with his office is that it took days to get someone on the phone as nobody called me back, and over a week to get an order in for further testing that was to be in within 1-2 days... And I still had to follow-up numerous times to get that resolved. In my book, he'd be a rockstar if he had better, or more, staff. I have no idea how overwhelmed they are, but it's a problem that needs its own diagnosis.

I was diagnosed with a rheumatological problem by this doctor but he was unwilling to do anything other than prescribe drugs I did not wish to take (bisphosphonates). Thankfully the office did give me a discount as I had no insurance but the prices there are very, very high. Sadly, I have tried to get them to give me a referral to a public place where I can get further treatment which I can afford, but they first pretended not to know what a referral was, being only willing to send along the same records which I had already gotten from them (with some difficulty and confusion, I might add), then admitted that the doctor refused to give me a referral but they would not tell me why. It was terribly frustrating.

Dr. Horizon is THE BEST MD IN CALIFORNIA FOR PATIENTS WITH SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS. He genuinely cares about me, as his patient with debilitating SLE, Fibromyalgia, and other serious illnesses. My family and I are impressed and grateful for all that Dr. Horizon has done for me.
