I have several friends who recommended Dr. Yannish and they were right...he is a wonderful, sweet man who instills confidence in your procedure and care.

During the visit prior to a colonoscopy I was told by his physicians assistant that a problem which occurred with anesthesia during a prior surgery would not be a problem. They called later to cancel the colonoscopy because the anesthesia tech refused to perform. They said I could go to the hospital or undergo the procedure while awake. Dr. Yanish has performed the procedure in the past at his clinic. The whole thing was handled in a very unprofessional manner. They refused to allow me to speak to the doctor.

From the first phone call to completion, this Dr. and his staff are there to explain ever step, answer any questions, and make everything seem easy. Afterwards they are very thorough in explaining everything.

Dr. Yanish was extremely rude to both me and my mother both appointments I made. After being diagnosed with c-diff and trying to ask some questions about it during my second visit he explained the infection using scientific terms and addressed my mother with the comment, "But I'm sure you can't understand any of that". I am not impressed by doctors that know all and can't relay that information to their patients. He was extremely hostile and aggressive towards my mothers questions and concerns. He also did not remember first putting my on an antibiotic that made me violently ill. Spent the first fifteen minutes of my follow up appointment reading me my own symptoms and refreshing HIS own memory. I felt like a secondhand patient. Needs a reality check and a communication class. I was not happy and will be telling my referring primary care physician to NEVER refer any of his other patients to see Dr. Yanish.

A botched surgery led to a life-threatening condition that puzzled everyone in the emergency room. The drs. sent me home, only to have the condition worsen. Thank goodness, the second time someone called Dr. Yanish. I've been his patient for years--he's my hero.

Very thorough Dr., was very interested in why I was there, explained everything to me in a manner I could understand. Performed an Endoscopy and everything was very preofessional. I was extremely pleased.

Dr Yanish did not listen to my symptoms. I was having abdominal pain and weight loss for several months. I started to cry when he told me to take miralax and come back in 6 weeks. He diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome exacerbated by depression. I saw a different GI and they found autoimmune hepatitis. Dr Yanish seemed uninterested in finding the cause of my symptoms.

Every thing was explained before my procedure. They even had a video to watch and if you had more questions they were there to answer. My procedure was very successful and I have no memory of anythins being done. I think that is even more of a plus. I also have problems with being put under with being sick after words and they made sure that that was taken care of before I went in for my procedure. After every thhing was explained to my husband and we were both happy.
