Dr. Fletes was given the benefit of the doubt by our family....my family respects physicians. I must report in good faith.......that Dr. Fletes exhibited a cavalier attitude toward us - a sarcasm that was not warranted nor was it helpful ......and, without going into details......which I could easily........I will just say here that his manner, his inattentiveness, his communication skills {or lack of}, and his perceived dismissal of a chronological series of events incites me to rate him as I have.

I find Dr. Fletes concerned about my health and spends a good amount of time with me discussing issues. I especially like that the appointment starts about less then five minutes later than my appointment time.

On my LAST visit to him, I had several health concerns and pain in several places. When I tried to talk to him about them, he asked me the reason I told the nurse why I was coming in and I told him that I was concerned with some lumps and slight pain in my throat. He told me that he could not discuss any other concerns with me at that visit, that I should have told his nurse that there other things that were wrong with me and I guess he just didn't have the time. I have severe neck pain, he did feel it and told me to turn my head and told me that I had arthritis in my neck..no tests ordered at all. I thought it was very rude of him to treat a patient like that, like I didn't matter to him and neither did my pain. Needless to say I have a new doctor now that takes the time to discuss these issues with me, she is kind and a wonderful doctor.

Fletes is friendly and courteous. However, he seems a little absent minded. He forgot to prescribe the primary lab test I was there for while prescribing others. I caught the error before I left and had the nurse make the correction. Fletes nor his office called to inform me of the lab results. I had to call them for a fax 2 weeks later then interpret the numbers myself. It seems odd that during the appointment Fletes warns that if you don't hear back from him about the lab results it doesn't mean your labs results were O.K. He also suggested I make an annual appointments for lab tests that are recommended every six months. I don't know what experiences others have had but it seems his practice is subpar.
