I adored this doctor - at first. I recommended him to everybody. I felt he was very special and caring. He gradually started regularly missing appointments. He would call the nurse and she would say i was there and he would tell her he was on his way and for me to wait. He never showed up. One time he showed up with his eyes very red saying he could not examine me because he had pink eye. (did not look like it to me) He dropped some things and I asked him if he was ok. He became very strange and ended up leaving the Southwest Doctors that I was going to. In a matter of 3 years he went from very attentive and kind to way out there. After seeing him for 3 years he told me he never noticed that my cholesterol was over 300. DUH - that is your job.

There are too few hard-to-find doctors nowadays who would spend quality time with patients to listen to their concerns, and Dr. Afrasiabi is one of them. He is good at listening, being open to learn about other cultures, and caring for others well-being. One thing is that he can not make other people rich as he is approachable and reachable. He once said the doctors of his parents generation is the most respectful. While so many young doctors are chasing after the money-making trends in healthcare, I believe he is the one or one of the most respectful profs of the genXers. He will be successful.

He listened to my complaints and made me feel extremely comfortable. He was very up to date, professional, compassionate, and comprehensive. he answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. great follow up and communication
