My wife and I would like to thank Dr Surrey and his team. We were able to get the results we wanted. The lab tests are right there and have the results after a couple of hours. There was a close following up each week. We felt cared for, we are grateful and would recommend.

Dr. Surrey is as kind as he is intelligent. His bedside manner immediately put me at ease the first time I visited his office. During what was otherwise an incredibly uneasy and stressful time, I was always reassured by Dr. Surrey and his amazing nursing staff. I am so thankful for their patience, caring, and knowledge!

Anyone going through this process knows it can be challenging in every way possible. Luckily, we were able to go on this journey with Dr. Surrey and his incredible team. No matter what happened, they calmly and efficiently guided us through it. He knew when to recommend an additional procedure, and when to reassure us that everything was going well. Because of this expertise, we were fortunate enough to conceive on our first round of IVF. I am now 26 weeks along, and looking forward to giving birth to our beautiful daughter in July. All of the nurses, especially Olivia, were always available at the drop of a hat to communicate with us and provide us with amazing service. The office can get a little crowded, but I assume that's just because many others are also hoping to get in on the miracles that this group does their best to perform. My husband and I will be forever grateful, and will not hesitate to turn to Dr. Surrey again should we need assistance with our second baby.

Worst doctor *EVER*... On the last day to transfer my embryos, I waited for Dr. Surrey's phone call that never came. I finally called the clinic myself only to find he was not available. The nurse, feeling sorry for me, told me to just come in. When I arrived at the clinic for the transfer Dr. Surrey told me, during the transfer, there was no way my embryos result in a pregnancy.
After paying 15k for a cycle any resulting embryos better be transferred... even if they are poor quality. Obviously all Dr. Surrey cared about were his SART numbers than his patient. This was several years ago but he still makes my skin crawl when ever I think about him.

I am sure there are lots of success stories behind this doctor, but unless you know for a fact that there is NOTHING else you can do, please do not listen to this man.
I'll try to keep this as short as possible.
My wife and I had been trying for a little over a year with no luck. We were referred to Dr Surrey by my wife's OB/GYN. They ran some standard tests, including an HSG Test. The specialist who perform the test on my wife noted that one of the tubes was blocked, the other one, only slightly blocked, but the liquid did go through which in most cases it can "unclog" the tube. (pardon my non-medical slang).
When we sat with Dr. Surrey to go over the test, he basically said that both tubes were blocked, that it was actually dangerous for my wife and that they needed to go in surgically to unclog or proceed surgically on the tubes so that we could later do IVF. As we kept trying to tell him that one of the tubes was actually open, and that we had heard a lot of women get pregnant after doing an HSG test, and that we wanted to give it a shot for another month or 2 (after the HSG Test) to see if by any chance we could get pregnant, he because extremely rude and condescending. He went as far as to say, "I thought you were here because you want to have kids, if you ever want to have a child, this is the only way."
As we kept trying to inquire whether there could be a remote possibility that we could become pregnant naturally since one tube was open, he kept ignoring us and started scheduling surgery and looking at his calendar to put my wife on meds to take control of the cycle. HE DID NOT LISTEN TO A SINGLE WORD WE SAID. As we insisted on wanting to try for another month or two naturally, he laughed and said "That's never going to happen!"
Well, we thanked him, and told him we were NOT going to schedule any surgery or start any meds because ultimately we wanted to try naturally for another couple of months.
Suit yourself, he said. And we left.
I cannot begin to explain the respect and admiration I have for my wife for not breaking down crying in front of this piece of... doctor who basically told her she could never have a child if it wasn't through IVF. Of course, once we left the office and got in our car, she broke down. This man made her feel worthless, broken. I could not believe the lack of professionalism on this doctor, and the lack of HUMANITY on this man.
Well, guess what happened ONE AND A HALF MONTHS LATER.... yes, you guessed it right. With lots of faith, lots of prayers, and lots of hope and good energy.... We were pregnant.
I have been wanting to write a review on this doctor ever since. Today, I finally decided to do it so that those couples that are in the same place we were a year and a half ago, don't just fall for this doctor's rude, dismissive, dooming and heartbreaking speeches only to make some money out of you.
Today I am the proud father of the most beautiful little girl. Yes, she's six months, and almost every day when I look at her, I'm reminded of how that was just "Never going to happen!"s

I walked into Dr. Surrey’s office two months after my 43rd birthday. I had never tried to get pregnant or consulted a fertility doctor before, but I knew that it was a very long shot at my age. I also knew that SCRC had an excellent reputation but I had no idea just how lucky I was to be in the care of Dr. Surrey and his staff. Dr. Surrey was patient, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. And he certainly lived up to his expert reputation. He was successful on my first and only round of IVF with my one and only embryo! As I graduate back to my OB/GYN (ten weeks pregnant), I am extremely grateful to Dr. Surrey for making that long shot a success!

Dr. Surrey diagnosed me with endometriosis and said that I should have surgery immediately and then IVF. I told him that I did not want surgery and he said my only other option was to take birth control for 6 months, but given my age (34) there was no time for that. After reading many blogs and various books on infertility I found out that many people get pregnant naturally after taking an HSG test. So I called up Dr. Surrey's office and asked if he could order me the test. His nurse was shocked that I hadn't already had the test performed. Dr. Surrey said that I need to have surgery and that the test was a pointless waste of time and money. I pleaded with him, but he refused to sign off on the HSG test. After that I decided I needed a new fertility doctor. I took the HSG test and two weeks after that I found out that I am pregnant!! If I had listened to Dr. Surrey I would have had to go through surgery and IVF. It would have cost me at least $20,000 plus lots of pain and suffering.

Great doctor, great staff, great technology. Dr. Surrey is incredible doctors!  They have world class embryologists on staff, high-quality nurses and the nicest receptionist.?I have heard that it bothers some people that they ask for the money up front (hey, they have to eat too).  The staff can sometimes be a little short (not in a bad way) because they deal with so many of us women with so many questions.  I heard that some feel Dr. Surrey has an odd beside manner but my husband and I think he is the sweetest thing ever.  ?I have loved the experience of being there!

AWFUL! Don’t go to this doctor RUN AWAY! I find it suspicious that in the span of one week he has 5 positive reviews. Damage control? I can only mirror most of the negative comments in the previous reviews. I too was lured by SCRC’s statistics and Dr. Surrey’s reputation. During my IVF cycle, he was clearly more worried about his statistics and pocketbook than getting me pregnant. By the time people seek the help of an RE they have had their share of disappointments. Don’t add to your disappointments by going to an RE that is apathetic, arrogant, and a money siphon.
