I had to post here. I read some of the bad comments and I disagree with a lot of it. Dr, Surrey is AMAZING, Kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. His nurse Nina is so wonderful and patient. I asked so many questions and I never felt rushed or unimportant. They spend a lot of time with you so this is why your visits can take a little longer. We went to Dr. Surrey and with our first cycle of treatment we got pregnant. I am now 20 weeks and I am so thankful my wonderful Dr. referred him to me. My husband really felt comfortable with him too. His front office staff is a little slow but ALL the nurses are wonderful.

I should have known when iffiest met the dr. And thought he was arrogant that it wasn't going to go well but I saw his credentials and thought he was the best. I only saw him once in two months, he ordered blood test that cost me an additional 800 and when I asked why the office told me to have it looked at by my general dr. Well why didn't he just send me to my dr to order the test in the first place. Also had me coming in almost everyday for an ultrasound which is not needed and I was never even close to ovulation with his treatments. Sometimes the office would forget to call me that night and tell me the how it looked. Honestly I think it's a racket. Now I have a dr. That I see every time and ultra sounds are a hundred dollars cheaper and for the first time I have a viable egg.

After years of suffering with infertility problems and seeing several doctors, Dr. Surrey is the doctor who discovered the problem that had been preventing me from getting pregnant. I am now a proud mother of a beautiful 2 year old. I highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with infertility! Thank you doctor Surrey!

My wife and I recently visited Dr. Surrey after seeing many other doctors in the area regarding our infertility.we have decided to choose Dr. Surrey for his expertise and his experience. We have researched all the IVF doctors and none compare to the results of Dr. Surrey and staff. He is highly recommended.

My husband & I finally selected Dr Surrey. My husband was uncomfortable with the touchy feely approach from other doctors we interviewed. My husband loved Dr Surrey's direct manner, his knowledge and having over 25 years of successful experience. We are looking forward to becoming a family.

Came from London England! Dr surrey and staff helped arranged our visit and were very helpful. The experience was informative and educational. We will be (hopefully ) having a baby soon. We love dr surrey.... He is a very knowledge and well respected, therefore I am of 41 hrs old with 2 miscarriages, and I am going to start treatments with dr surrey I hopes of an ivf cycle....

I went to see Dr. Surrey because he helped me conceive my son. I saw him for 10 months and it was the absolute worst experience in my life. In that 10 months I saw and spoke to Dr. Surrey 2 times. His NP was terrible. She never knew who she was talking to. At one point she even told me we needed to do IVF because of my husbands AIDS, my husband does not have AIDS and if she would have payed attention to who she was talking to she would have known that (we did a STD test with them). I feel when she was ordering tests she was just pulling them out of thin air. They never told me how much things were going to cost. I only found out after I got a $10,000 bill. Still not pregnant. Now I am working with a specialist that is AMAZING, now I know the kind of treatment I should have been getting. If you are in Santa Barbara and are looking into fertility treatment, don't wast you time, money or tear on this place go see Dr. Rene Allen you will have a much better experience.

Dr Surrey and his entire office is terrible. Couples beware...don't waste your time or money. The ladies at reception are rude, the accounting office is rude, nurses are even worse. I had 2 failed IVF attempts with Dr.Surrey...he was arrogant and honestly disinterested in our case. After hme suggesting that ovarian drilling was our best chance at having a baby (ovarian drilling!!!) we left his office, found a new doctor, got pregnant and how have a beautiful 3 month old girl. If you are trying to concieve go to California Fertility Partners in Westwood. Dr Ringler was our Dr and he is truly our angel.
