Very disappointed. I previously saw Dr. Berk and his remedy was only partially successful. Over a year later, I had another issue and reluctantly went to see him. His remedy was not successful at all so I called the office and related the issue to the desk woman, asking if he could prescribe something else or should I come in to see him. She said she would have one of the medical staff contact me. No one called me. After two days, I called again and left a message requesting a call back. After one week, no one ever called. I will be returning to a previous dermatologist which is disappointing since Dr. Berk is very close to my home. Since his remedies don't work and there is absolutely no follow up, I would not recommend him or that office.

Have used Dr. Berk for more than 10 years. Have always found he and his staff to to be attentive to problems presented.

His staff seemed more into their nails than me, but that's not very important when all I want is my rash to be cured. I told Dr. Berk that I've been suffering from a rash for about five months, he immediately told me that it was going away, and I should just continue to use basic hydrocortisone creams, and it'll clear in a week, but apparently wasn't listening to a word I said since I had been using those creams for almost five months. He then told me that they're bug bites and I should have an exterminator come to my room, and "We'reDone here", had one come and he said I should see a dermatologist, funny, until I receive a $200 bill from the exterminator and a $440 bill from the quack, it's been four months and the rash it still extremely present, he was originally my acne doctor, and really only wanted to put me and my brother on Accutane, thank god I didn't, my brother did and went bald and had his growth stunted, besides turning bright red, and got horrible depression.. The only reason to go back is to figure out why he cared so little for me and really just wanted to impress his 3 highly attractive interns..

I scheduled an early appointment and maybe that's why my visit was punctual. I was very impressed with Dr. Burk's manner and treatment. He is the first doctor that suggested a biopsy to get to the root of my problem (that other dermatologists dismissed as age-related. I had one major reason for my visit, but asked if I could address a few minor ones and he listened intently and diagnosed the problem. I wish I had gone to him 4 years ago when my problem began. I feel that it would have been taken care of.

I'm not sure where the positive reviews on this guy come from, maybe his own staff. He dodged direct questions about a skin issue, made me feel dumb, and prescribed the same medicine that I told him hadn't worked in the past. Waste of over 2 hours in the waiting room.

This doctor is borderline practicing malpractice. When side effects were reported, he said it was in the patient's head. When concerns were raised with the nurses, they minimized them. He is impossible to contact, or get in to see without waiting over an hour. I was not the patient, but a nurse who went with a client, and I was appalled. Don't go here.

GOOD DOCTOR! HE CARED ABOUT THE PATIENTS AND HE KEPT ME INFORMED. HE DID NOT MIND TO SPEND A LOT TIME WITH ME. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM.

Dr. Berk is the best dermatologist I have ever visted. And I have visited 6 in the last 10 years. For about three years I had a strange rash all over my body. After seeing quite a few dermatologists with no answers, a friend recommended Dr. Berk. My first meeting with him was great. He was friendly and softspoken, but also knowledgeable and concerned about my condition. After taking a biopsy which none of the other derms would do, he told me it was PLC and explained the first line of treatment. After seeing him for quite a few months, I have started the light box treatments. I enjoy going into his office because he always has my best interest at heart.

I have gone to see Dr. Berk about 3 times and waited no less than an hour each time. Not only was the wait frustrating but all the treatments he prescribed to me not only didn't help my acne but often made it worse. Never going back again!

Excellent physician. Knowledgeable, personable, unhurried, reassuring. Saw him twice. He removed a growth from my leg which looks as though it'll leave no scar. Staff excellent. Would completely recommend him.
