Not only did he listen attentively to my concerns, he provided treatment plan in a way that I could easily understand. Knowledgeable, friendly and easily understood. Talked in therms that I understood and did not try to sell the surgery but offered optional treatments to try until surgery is inevitable.

I've visited Dr. Ahn twice and both times he has provided me with superb care and gives precise explanations of treatments and options. For a doctor with so many years in the medical field, he has a great beside manner and professionalism. I trust him with my potential spine surgery.

Dr Ahn performed two back surgeries on me in March of this year. Six weeks later, I am pain free, off all meds, beginning outpatient PT, and reclaiming my life. Dr Ahn is a brilliant surgeon, but even better, a terrific human being. I can not recommend him highly enough!

I saw Dr. Ahn for a back surgery consult in Dec. of 2018. We were impressed with the consult. I called him back with a couple of questions. He got very irritated "I spent 2 hours with you and your wife, that should be enough, I'm too busy to answer any more of your questions". First, we spent no more than 50 minutes with him. We were called in 44 minutes late to his office and when we finally got in to see him I needed 2 x rays at different times so that took another 20 minutes or so. He was proposing a 2 day, 2 stage surgery. You would think he'd be willing to answer as many questions as we have.

I also mentioned that he made several errors (over 20) concerning my health. He stated "I may have mixed you up with another patient, send in the corrections and I'll have my staff fix it".
I sent in the corrections, I have not received a corrected report nor have heard from him. I have also contacted his supervisors and have heard nothing. I filed a complaint with the state medical board and my medicare carrier ; all I want is a corrected report for my disability carriers and further Dr. opinions.

His assistant, April, is not only rude, she was dishonest with me. When I asked her why she had not returned my messages she states that she tried calling me and my v.m. wasn't working and 2 other times she tried returning my calls but my phone was not working. Not only were others able to call me; there were no missed calls from her in my call record.

Dr. Ahn is a surgeon's surgeon. He operated on my husband's stenosis, which was severe. The difference has been truly remarkable. I'm very happy to sing his praises.

Dr. Ahn reviewed a case for BWC and recommended denial of a previously allowed procedure without seeing me in person, how can this be? Diagnosed with non fusion a two levels, failed back syndrome and increased numbness of both legs. He isn't the one who wonders every morning if he can walk without staggering and how long this will last. Isn't the one who can't sit through an entire sporting event while watching his grandkids play ball. Dr. Ahn is a hack. Since all conservative measures have been exhausted, how would he now fix this issue?

I was referred to Dr. Nicholas Ahn due to chronic and severe sciatica pain from spondylolisthesis. Dr. Ahn took great care to explain the MRI and how he could correct the problem. Dr. Ahn performed my surgery in 2 parts. First, an ALIF (anterior fusion) at L3-L4. Four days later, an L3-L5 fusion at the posterior. After surgery, the pain was GONE! Dr. Ahn is a very skilled, caring and personable man. His staff is very helpful and informative. Dr. Ahn receives my highest recommendation
