My first visit was amazing, since then it has been down hill. The last time I went I had to wait 1.5 hours to be seen, and when I was seen, I got a medical student instead of the doctor. I specifically chose Dr. Chuang because I wanted a female doctor, the med student was male. Although he was nice, I prefer female doctors and don't appreciate being forced to see a male provider without any kind of warning or choice. I was late to work because of my long wait. If I have one more similar experience, I am finding another doctor.

Even though she is very knowledgable she sure does not have the time to sit down with her patients; each time I visit her (wich is basically no more than twice a year and I'm always prepare with the questions and my concerns because like most, I don't like to spend time at the doctor's office) she's ALWAYS in a hurry to get me out of the office just so she can attend to the rest of her patients...I don't even get a chance to tell her my concerns; with this she gives me the impression that she does not care to help her patients (it's the quantity NOT the quality...that's her priority). Too bad...she just lost one patient...I'm not going back to her and I will tell my friends and family NOT to go to her.

I have been seeing Dr. Chuang since I moved to the city 8 years ago. She is by far the best PCP I have had in my adult life. The company I work for offers a free HMO, but I took the paid PPO just so I could make sure I would be able to continue going to Dr. Chuang!!!

I thought she was very attentive and spent time with me. She did not want to rush me out. Also was surprised that she personally called me at home with my test results.

Visit on 05/12/09. Saw Dr. Chuang for the first time and was very happy with her process. She asked me several questions to get to know me as a person to allow her to help me as a physician. Rather than just checklist responses, she took detailed notes of my medical background, family history and we even discussed my eating habits. She has a cheerful personality, friendly, and kind. I felt comfortable asking questions and she also seemed willing to share her knowledge to help me.
