I was diagnosed with uterine/cervical cancer in 2007, and visited two (highly recommended) surgeons. Dr. Resnik was the second one I saw. During my initial visit, I decided that he was the one I wanted to perform the necessary surgery. He performed a complete (laparoscopic) hysterectomy and continued to advise me on treatment following a second cancer surgery six months later. Thanks to Dr. Resnik’s expertise (and the care of the medical oncologist he recommended for additional treatment) I am now cancer-free. I was sorry to learn that Dr. Resnik was leaving the area, but I wish him well in his new location, and I recommend him highly. (NOTE: My rating of his staff refers to the people I knew from his office in Pomona NY.)

I cant even express my gratitude to Doc Resnik and his office staff. This past year had been a scary period in my life and with out Doctor Resnik i wouldnt have been able to get through it. He is smart, caring, considerate and is extreamly helpful. He is available at all hours and knows how to calm frightened patients. I can not thank him enough and me and my family will be forever greatfull to him. He is a top rated surgeon and is very knowledgeable in all areas. i would strongly recommend him to everyone. His office staff is friendly, helpfull and always runs on time.Thank You Doctor Resnik from the bottom of our hearts.

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Resnick to anyone ! I should have known better after my first exam with him. He was horrible! I left his office in shock and tears. I had my surgery at the end of Nov 2011 and I have YET to hear from anyone from his office on how I am feeling, etc. His bedside manner or should I say lack thereof needs ALOT of work. One of the worst experiences of my life. BEWARE!!!!

I went to Dr. Resnick in December 2011 and was extremely impressed with the professionalism and caring of Dr. Resnick and his staff. Throughout the entire difficult process they were understanding, competent and always available. Surgery, recovery and followup could not have been more successful. I would highly recommend Dr. Resnick and his staff!

Nightmare from beginning to end. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After a 2 min very painful exam, during which Dr Resnick kept saying, "I'm not hurting you," he told I needed an immediate radical hysterectomy and had at least stage 2 cancer. I was scheduled for a biopsy. His office manager never called or returned my messages to let me know the time. When I finally got in touch with someone in the office I was given a time, which turned out to be incorrect and told I was scheduled for a hysterectomy, not a biopsy!! I finally got everything straightened out and went for a biopsy. I had a million questions, but the Dr left before I even woke up from anesthesia and did not return calls. I got a second opinion and it turns out the initial diagnosis was incorrect. I would not recommend this doctor or his staff. If you have cancer, you deserve better treatment.

wonderful doctor i consider myself very lucky that i used him the referring doctor set up the appointment had surgery right away and im back at work 5 weeks later and never felt better highly recommend this doctor

Dr. Resnik and his staff were very professional. His recommendation for surgery helped me alot. And I recovered alot faster than I had expected. He spent plenty of time during the pre-operative visits answering my questions. I would recommend him because of his surgical skills and knowledge in the field.

I was seen before my appointment time. Dr. Resnik spent time with me answering my questions. I was not rushed and everything was answered to my satisfaction. The staff was 'smiley' and extremely pleasant.

Dr. Resnik is a very kind, gentle doctor who answered all my questions and reassured me through the entire procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone with uterine cancer. He is an excellent surgeon and very, very knowledgable about his field. There is no one better than Dr. Resnik! I have recommended him to friends with the same problem and will continue to do so. His staff also is most helpful, friendly, kind and willing to help. I cannot thank Dr. Resnik and his staff enough.
