Kind, compassionate, and good in his profession. He does tend to run behind schedule, however it is because he takes time with each patient and answers any and all questions without appearing rushed or bothered. Scheduling surgeries can be difficult due to his part-time status and he is 100% loyal to Spectrum Butterworth - which can be bothersome if you prefer to have surgery at another outpatient location.

This Doctor was very caring. I had a gallbladder removal and hernia repair. The hernia scar was undetectable but later tore because mesh wasn't used. I later went to another Dr. who didn't make it look as good and may need another surgery in the future.

A very wise surgeon who is also very compassionate. He has taken care of many in our family. My friend is a surgical nurse and she says he is one of the best general surgeons in Grand Rapids.

Wonderful, caring surgeon. He has a great bed side manner. He has performed three surgeries, one a mastectomy, and they were all very well done with very little scaring and minimal pain.
