Been seeing this Dr for several years. He is pleasant, funny, listens to what I say, and actually remembers personal info about me. Kendra is also very nice and helpful.

Very rude & uncommunicative. 1st time he saw me, w/o seeing any tests, he told me I had a tumor or scar on my brain, which is the cause of a seizure disorder I suddenly acquired at age 41. I asked what the chances are I don't have either of thesee & he said that there's no chance - I have a tumor or scar and we need to find out which at this point. He ordered the required tests & lo & behold they came back negative. No tumor, no scar. He put me on anti-sezure meds that seem to be working so far, but too early to tell. Almost everytime I see him, he is very short with me & doesn't like when I ask questions. He got very pissy with me once & very uncommunicative every other time. I heard he's the best neuro in my town so I stuck with him but once I am seizure free for a 1 year I will be switching (I have to do it that way for reasons I cannot get into right now since I have limedted space to write). Be careful with this dr. If you have a seizure disorder, go elsewhere.

This Doctor had a rude and condescending manner. He refused to listen to any explaination of my symptoms, and he kept talking over me in a loud voice. He also made veiled derogatoy remarks. He told me he would not treat me unless I went off ALL my meds. This could have put me in grave danger. My wonderful Family Doctor was shocked when we told her Dr.Opeda's plan. She immediately put me on Requip, because without my meds., I can't walk most days. I have Sarcoidosis, it has been biopsied and I had to have surgery.Dr. Opeda said,"You do not have Sarcoidosis, just get it out of your head." He also strongly critcized my Family Dr. for putting me on Requip, which is really helping me.
