My mother visited Dr. Young for basic blood work. She has several medical conditions and wanted up-to-date information to monitor them properly. She was kept waiting for over an hour to see the doctor. They had a pleasant, brief visit. But Dr. Young quite literally NEVER followed up with the blood results. My mom has called several times, and each time the secretary abruptly responded that the doctor would be in touch or mail them to her. It has now been nearly 2 MONTHS and we have yet to hear anything. Completely unprofessional and rude. I was considering going to Dr. Young myself and recommending her to other family in the area, but now I won't even think about it.

Despite some issues with waiting times, this doctor's office is great. Dr. Young takes her time to listen to medical concerns and to explain anything that requires clarification. The front office staff is professional and courteous. Technologically, this office is up-to-date, even prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacist (no more misplaced scripts).

Very professional. Makes the effort to contact you even if it's after hours. She is very thorough. Everything is updated on the computer. Very pleased with her kind demeanor.

dr, young is very nice, ,knowledgeable...she doesn't rush you and you can see that she cares. the only prob is her assistant she doesn't listen to patient.....p.s she won't mind wasting your time

Very promptly reply to any concerns or questions. Thorough exams. Doctor spends a great deal of time getting patient history and input.

I am very happy I started seeing Dr. Young. She is kind and professional, and I never feel rushed. That is quite a feat as I imagine doctors are under pressure to get through appointments quickly. Note too that she graduated from a good med school.

Very nice, but always very late. Waits can be well over an hour. E-mails are often not answered. Once you see her, she is fine, pleasant and helpful.

She is very efficient and very nice. She is always very attentive and listens to everything you say. She does not seem to judge you when you talk to her about your problems, not matter what the problem is, and she really does seem to care. She does not rush you, which takes away from her punctuality a bit, but that also give you the secure feeling that she actually wants to give you her full attention. I completely recommend seeing her. She is so nice and so good to everyone.

Dr. Karen Young is extremely nice and knowledable. She is personable with her patients, and has a thereputic approach for dealing with problems a patient may be having. The other doctors in her office are cold and rush you, so only see Dr. Young!
