I have been once. Doctor Glatt is fine. But office staff is very rude and uncooperative. I spoke to three members of the staff on one call and they could not help with a simple request.
I’ll be changing docs for sure because if this.

Dr. Glatt isn't necessarily the problem of the horrible ratings, it is his awful office staff, and if i could give NO STARS I would! The staff lacks professionalism in all areas. I have been seeing Dr. Glatt for a very long time and put up with his staff just to see him, and it hasn't been easy. Most visits are annual eye exams, contact fittings, so I just dealt with them that is up until recently. Eye was swollen shut, they refused to see me because I didn't call at the time they deemed appropriate, and tried to give me an appointment 2 weeks out! I urged them a little, thinking I've been a patient awhile, its not like I was just trying doctors off a list, and their solution was giving me the on call doctor. Frustrated and in pain I just called the on call doctor, who advised me they were not available to see new patients at the time because they were too busy! The on-call doctor!!!! So I called back Dr. Glatt's office to only find that the office was closed for the day and machine was on! So they did not even try to help me because apparently they just couldn't be bothered because it was lunch or they were done for the day. Again his staff is always like this but I never had to deal with them on a true medical emergency and always knew when it came time to call them to call a month before because they "never had an opening". I work in a doctors office and I hope my patients never feel this way about my office as I do theirs. I feel they are there to HELP their patients not make them feel as if you are a bother to their day. I can't imagine if Dr. Glatt knows how awful his office staff is because being a doctor I would think he'd care about his patients care, but then again reading some of the reviews in a few other websites it seems people have felt this way, so it goes to show he may know and just doesn't care. Safe to say Dr. Glatt lost me as a patient of almost 10 years and my entire family.

Dr. Glatt is an excellent and is very knowledgeable doctor but most of his office staff have a rude attitude. They are nasty when you ask them questions a second time if you are not clear about something.They hang up on you before you can finish asking all the questions you may have. When you call back they are more short patience. The doctor has a lot of patients and the staff are overwhelmed but they need to be taught social communication skills so they will know how to perform in a professional office environment.

Check your bill. Carefully. The doctor himself is fine, but when I saw my bill I was charged for all these additional tests (computerized ophthalmic scanning and ultrasound echo, etc.) when all I needed was to have my eyes checked for my eyeglasses. These tests were in fact done, but they weren't necessary. If you have insurance these tests will probably be covered but still, it's not good medicine to administer unnecessary tests just to pad the bill.

I have see Dr. Glatt in the past two years. This year, I had a pair of glasses made two months after the prescription date due to the insurance coverage ineligibility. But the glasses gave me some kind of eye stress and I also felt a little pain and tears in my eyes. I contacted doctor's office in the first week and was given a time to see him in about three weeks later. When I got there for the appointment, his support staff told me that I had to pay $$$ to get the glasses checked. They also said that I might have medical issue with my eyes and asked if I got my eyes injured after eye exam. Eventually, they refused to help me unless I pay for another exam. An old lady (office manager?) was very rude. They seem only interested in money. I still believe he is a good doctor if u can talk to him. Sadly his poor support staff does not care about doctor’s reputation. They are impatient and rude, and rarely talk to you nicely. Don't go here unless you're ready to tolerate his rude staff.

I agree the staff are nasty and they hang up the phone on you when you are trying to make an appt. The dr is knowledgable but sometimes they will rush your visit if they over book appts, and that also is annoying.

I have been going to Dr. Glatt since I was a teenager & hard contacts first came out. His practice has really grown, and unfortunately this has caused wait times to increase. I feel rushed as well now, and I've been going to him for more than 20 years. His staff can be a little impatient with you as well, but I guess that's to be expected with a growing practice..

My wife and I both go to Dr. Glatt, an absolutely superb doctor. I have absolutely no criticism of Dr. Glatt. He did my wife's cataract operation, and she now sees perfectly.
