I had a lesion taken off my face by Dr. Baum. It was red almost from the day it was supposed to be healing. I called his office at least 5 times. I was given the run around and never got advice on the area not healing. It has been close to 5 weeks now and it looks no better. If Dr Baum’s office can’t talk with Dr Baum or even make an appointment to see me, I think they are not professional. I will never go back to him again. And I don’t recommend anyone else to.

I had the to stop surgery and left after one of the associate physicians may have accidentally injected some of the skin numbing agent into a vein. I became light headed and dizzy and could not continue. I had to go to the waiting room and wait until the effects of the drug wore off before I could drive home. Dr. Baum biopsy asked if he could do a biopsy on the area.(which he should have done before the surgery) I agreed to let him do it. When I came back to have the stitches removed I told him that I also had a very small spot on my nose that needed to be removed. That was my first mistake. He was already upset at me for stopping / leaving the surgery. The spot on my nose was tiny and barely visible, He froze the wrong spot just below it even after I pointed right at it, so he froze another area above that one. Now I have have two deep scars right in the middle of my face on the bridge of my nose.

He brought an entire GSCC class into the hospital room I was in, jerked my gown down, exposing my breast, stuck me twice with a needle, immediately took a biopsy, I screamed he told my husband "no way she felt that ", left the room, came back 2 days later threw 2 sheets of paper on the bed said "you have Stills disease " and walked out. I do not have Stills disease I have a severe iron deficiency. I'm now seeing drs at the Highland clinic and the Kirkland clinic who are competent and don't treat you like you're below them. I will literally die before he ever touches me again!

Excellent doctor. I like the fact that he usually performs whatever procedure is needed right then and there, rather than taking one appointment to "look" and making you schedule a second appointment to do something about the problem. I like the fact that he doesn't waste time but gets straight to the diagnosis and treatment. It's easy to schedule an appointment and the wait times are short. He has a good "Blue Light" department for Blue Light preventive treatments. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Dr. Baum. I've been seeing dermatologists in three states for 20 years for frequent spots of basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma, so I have a lot of experience with dermatologists. Dr. Baum is a good one! I read all the negative reviews on here and I really can't understand it, because I find him to be very caring and competent. No, he doesn't spend a whole lot of time visiting with you, but that's fine by me! He gets straight to the problem and takes care of it -- and usually treats you at once rather than forcing you to reschedule. I like him!

Had a cyst sliced off my neck with nothing to numb the pain. He thought the nurse had numbed it and she thought he had. Needless to say left in tears and will never go back!
