I had cataract surgery (with laser) on both my eyes, two weeks apart. The world is much brighter now and the colors are amazing! Fantastic changes in especially in the blue/green range. I’m so pleased with the surgeries, the follow-up visits (the day after surgery and a week following the surgery), the entire procedure. Dr Medford is an excellent surgeon and he is also very caring and honest and explains everything. Many thanks to Dr Medford and his staff in Morristown for their professionalism.

I have been seeing Dr. Medford for 20 years. Two years ago I had cataract surgery. I had one eye done in October and the second one in December. I did one eye with a distance lens and one with a reading lens. The result has been a game changer for me. Recovery is very quick, just a few days to a week. No more glasses or everyday use. I did get a reading prescription to bring both eyes together when doing detail work up close.
So glad i got this done!

I found Dr. Medford of Morristown, New Jersey on the Internet after doing an extensive amount of research.

He had so many great reviews that my husband and I decided to go and meet with him even-though we live one hour away. We felt that with so many amazing reviews, we needed to meet with him and decide for ourselves if this is “our” doctor.

Making the decision to have cataract surgery was no easy decision. I thought about long and hard. However, since I found that my vision was increasingly getting worse and everything was getting blurrier, to the point that I couldn’t see clearly out of my right eye because when I was watching TV, for example, it was in “double vision”.

After meeting with him, both my husband and I found him to be very knowledgeable, informative, professional and had a wonderful bed side manner. He diagnosed me to have two cataracts, one in each eye. He scheduled me for both surgeries one month apart starting with the worst eye first.

Taking a leap of faith, I decided to have cataract surgery and chose Dr. Medford as my surgeon. I was extremely nervous on the day of surgery, but while the nurse was prepping me, Dr. Medford came in to see me and saw that I was quite anxious. He then went on and reassured me with his kind words telling me that he’s performed this procedure many times and to try and relax.

The surgery was textbook perfect.

When I went in for my follow up visit the next day, he told me that it went very well and gave me further instructions on how to continue taking care of the eye so it heals perfectly. I then saw him again one week later, at which point he evaluated me and recommended that I wait to operate on the other cataract because in his words “it was necessary yet”.

I really appreciated the honesty and care.

I highly recommend Dr. David Medford, not only because he is he an amazing surgeon, a kind person, but a very honest doctor as well. It’s a win-win. His patients welfare is his primary concern.

I had surgery to remove cataracts in both my eyes. Dr. Medford was fantastic. I could not have asked for a more professional and caring experience. It was virtually painless and my results were great. After nearly fifty years of wearing glasses, I’m able to see everything better than I ever could.

I recently had 2 cataract surgeries by Dr Medford. From the initial exam with Dr Hess, it was a wonderful experience. The staff in both office locations was friendly and helpful. Dr. Medford took a lot of time to explain the procedures in detail, and he was more than happy to answer any questions. The team at Ridgedale Surgical Center was also attentive, professional, and kind. Post op instructions were clear and easy to follow. My post op visits to Dr Medford were extremely thorough, and again, Dr. Medford spent a lot of time explaining the results and was anxious to answer any questions. I would recommend Dr. David Medford to anyone, including my family and friends without any reservation.

I am more than thrilled with my recent cataract surgery performed by Dr. Medford. He explained the procedure well, listing all my options and answering all my questions. His surgical assistant scheduled the surgeries and follow-up appointments and everything proceeded without any problems. The surgical center was clean and worked seamlessly. The entire staff genuinely tried to put you at ease on the day of surgery. Both surgeries were successful and my eyesight is better than ever.
