I'm so thankful that I met dr. Rossman 32 years ago when he changed my life forever. I was told I would never walk or talk and there were only six known cases of my infinite polymosites and arthroposis. I wish there was some way I could contact him and thank him personally for everything he's done for me. If your reading this Dr Rosman u may remember me and you were also close with my dad. My dad always thought you were such a great man and told me so much about you. Forget what all these people say your a good person and my dad felt the same. He recently just passed away of cancer :( I wish u all the best! Tina

Echo all comments below. The stories are unfortunately all true. Speaking from direct personal experience as well. Even after being convicted on charges he was still permitted to practice. How does that happen???

if he is still practicing i don't get it. i was 14 when he operated on my knee, I thought then he was great but the friendly hugs became more and more insisting and the grabbing wouldn't stop. I ended up stopping to go to my appointents because he wanted to give me a drive home and I was soooo scared. He even had snipped a piece of my hair out. when he was arrested in 89 and saw him on the news I called to let them know I was also a victim and the police just mentionned to me that we were many girls that just called.

Why is he still free and not behind bars? He was completely disgusting when he was testing me for my leg injury at the age of twelve

J'ai été opéré pour une grave scoliose par docteur Rosman il y a 38 ans ce jour même, le 5 janvier 1977 et je n'ai jamais eu aucune douleur depuis. À l'époque je l'avais adoré et choisi après avoir consulté deux autres spécialistes. C'était à l'hôpital Children de Montréal, vraiment dommage si il vieillit si mal.....

C'est un idividu dépourvu d'humanisme!
Il a peut être le diplôme pour être docteur mais aucunement la sensibilité et l'écoute du patient!
Il était pressé par le temps et hautain quand il me parlait.
Je ne recommande pas ma mauvaise éxperience à personne.

I had scoliosis surgery with Dr. Rosman in 1982. Nothing to complain about as far as the surgery went. However, the odd behaviour of his resident, Dr. Kornacki, who urgently insisted that one parent stay in the room with me at all times, became clear several years later, when Dr. Rosman was convicted of sexually molesting a 15-year-old patient. When my daughter was admitted to the Montreal Children's in 2009, I mentioned to one of her nurses that Dr. Rosman had performed my surgery. Her reaction? "Oh...HIM!" She went on to tell me that the man is medically brilliant but an absolute pig behind closed doors. Always sexually harassing the nurses. Stay away.

Je ne recommande cet orthopédiste a personne!
Il est arrogant, n'écoute pas ou fait semblant, a l'air débordé et veut faire vite vite vite!!!
Se dit au dessus de tout avec ses 45 ans de pratiques mais je crois que il aurait du quitter le domaine depuis longtemps... Aucune relation d'aide pour le patient. Mon experience a été tres negative et je suis decouragée par la situation...il ne s'est pas gené pour me dire maigris et fait de l'exercise et j'aurai plus de douleur quand meme que mon echographie montre un probleme réel mais lui tout est normal!
Mon fils de 3 ans ferait des meilleures expertises que cet individu qui nous montre plus la sortie que l'entree!!! Mefiez-vous!!!

I met Dr. Rosman twice, at the Hochelaga clinic. He is unlike any other doctor I ever seen. While most doctors at least pretend to help you with your problem, in my opinion, this one doesn't care in the least about his patient. In my case, this doctor was completely useless. I wouldn't go back and I suggest you avoid him too unless there's no other hope. Terrible waste of time!
