I was diagnosed by my good friend Dr Arman Fasano, MD (diabetic retinopathy ) .
I’ve been a PT at Retina Centers of New Jersey since 2000. I’m 57 years young , I’m diabetic I have a condition named diabetic retinopathy Dr Higgins , MD . I can assure you from personal experience these doctors are super stars in their game and I highly recommend Dr Patrick Higgins’s, MD for all your vision problems. I was referred to dr. Higgins because I have macular pucker. He told me everything was fine and I need to have a check up in 6 months to see if it gets worse. If it gets worse; then I'll need surgery.

Doctor arrived 2 hours late for his scheduled appointments. Nurses claim you have a dialation wait which only takes 15 minutes. He finally arrives and then kisses his nurse good morning. Inappropriate. No evidence of hand washing Has sarcastic attitude. He had pompous attitude and I would not recommend him.

Dr Higgins is my "Savior " I was almost blind when I went to him! He told me from day one it would be a long road to recovery , but I would get better with time. He is knowledgeable, professional & compassionate. I've gotten better with the treatment I'm receiving & trust him that I will get better yet! Recommend him very highly! You will experience long waits at time, but that is just proof of how good he is! Remember if you don't have to wait at a doctors office, he probably is not that good and doesn't have much of a following!

Dr Higgins performed an emergency repair on my torn retina.He took time from his busy schedule and on short notice did the procedure in his home office .He quite possibly saved me from getting a detached retina.he is a talented professional and very down to earth .I give him my thanks and my highest rating !

I believe Dr. Higgins is an extremely knowledgeable doctor but I was unhappy with his wait times. He has several offices going on at the same time and when you finally get to see him, you feel like he has his hand on the doorknob waiting to run to the next patient the entire time. We had a follow up appointment and were there for an hour and forty minutes. I also feel that we were talked into a surgical procedure without being warned of potential dangers.

Dr. Higgins is very knowledgable in his area and quite professional. The only downfall is the waiting time. Waiting time is extremely long. He has a lot of patients because of his specialty.

Dr. Higgins is an excellent doctor. My son had an accident at work. We had another doctor to start. We found Patrick through a friend who also had used him. He is a kind patient man with great skills. Had it not been for him my son would have completly lost his eye. He saved his eye not with vision as we had hoped. But for the best result from his injury. When we came to him the eye was dying and he saved it. We would highly recommend this doctor.

I have been going to him for the past 4 years. He has advised me many times to help me with my RP, but I do feel rushed at times though because he seems like he's always wants to get out of the office as soon as possible. I think he's given me a lot of information that would benefit me.
