My family had been seeing Dr. Lowy for years. It's like seeing family when I go to the office. The staff have been there for years and they all know me.
Dr. Lowy makes sure she does everything to solve the problem and explains everything.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

After having a horrible experience with another Optomotrist in the area, I decided to get serious about find a new Optometrist. Thank you Ratemds.com and the previous commentors for helping us find Dr. Lowy!!! This 5 Star rating did not disappoint. I had myself and 3 little kids in tow all for an assessment. Everyone was professional, kind and patient, even when my Autistic kids were barely holding on. They even managed to slip the little on in without having an appointment. First each were assessed on the equipment by the optician then each one of us got to see Dr. Lowy. She was kind, patient and informative. She gave us the information and options we needed. I'm so happy we came here. I would recommend 100%. P.S. And seeing the Order of Canada for Dr. Lowy on the wall certainly made me feel we had made a good choice. My only minor recommendation is to have a few more toy or books for the little kids, but next time I will bring my own, not a big deal. If you pick this office, you're in good hands.

Dr Lowy and Dr Sewell are both great, Marilyn is fantastic as well. Other staff are ok, just had my eyes checked with Dr Sewell. I asked the staff if possible to pick up glasses (3 of them) on Saturday, was told yes and given appointment card, when I got home I notices the appointment was in 2 weeks time not the following Saturday!

I have been going to Dr Lowy for the past 25 years, during this time I developed MS. This has required me to visit Dr Lowy more often as the MS can affect my eye sight. Dr Lowy and her staff have been more than helpful in setting up appointments for me as soon as I call. Her staff has always been helpful in helping me get around the office and helping me into the exam chair. My wife, daughter and inlaws also go to her. I was recently introduced to her partner (her son) Dr Sewell who happens to be just as caring as Dr Lowy. Dr Sewell made time to see me when Dr Lowy was booked.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lowy's for over 25 years. Dr. Lowy is a very knowledgeable, competent, and caring optometrist. She is always available to provide excellent service with a smile. Dr. Lowy and her staff are fantastic!!! I have been seeing Dr. Lowy for years. My husband who is a family doctor refers to her if a patient is in need of eye care. I brought my elderly mom to see Dr. Lowy since she was having some major problem with one eye. We went to the most prominent doctors downtown and no one could help her. Dr. Lowy worked with my mom until she found the problem and was able to completely help heal her eye problem. Thank you Dr. Lowy for your caring and professionalism!!!

Yesterday I visited the offices of Dr. Lowy and Associates for my regular appointment. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They have all the latest equipment in their office which allowed them to perform a very extensive exam. When it came time to pick out glasses, the staff were very helpful in making a selection. I would highly recommend Dr. Lowy.

I recently had my first eye exam with Dr. Lowy, having been recommended to her by a friend. The entire experience was fantastic. Her office staff and assistants were extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable, and I was seen on time. Dr. Lowy was extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, listened carefully to all my concerns and patiently answered all my questions. I had been having trouble with my eyesight for a few years, and had been to a few optometrists, without success in improving my eyesight. Dr. Lowy was able to hone in on a prescription that improved my eyesight significantly and shared with me some daily eye care routines that would help as well. And after a month or so, she had me back in just so she could check if things were still better/okay with my eyes. Her office has all of the latest technology to help them with their exams and diagnoses, which is great from a patient perspective. I am definitely staying with her and she is now seen my family. If you are looking for a great optometrist, I highly recommend Dr. Lowy.

I just had my eye examination with Dr. Lowy. She is warm and engaging and certainly made me comfortable. She spent a great deal of time solving my problems with the computer. I was very impressed with her staff and the level of technology in her office.
