Dr Schmitt is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He's listened to my concerns and helped get my asthma under control when other doctors were not able to.

The staff was rude and billing practices were confusing.

I have had my daughter in and out of pediatritian offices, ERs, and urgent cares to only be told it is a cold or ear infection. She had pneumonia and/or bronchitis 4x in 1 year. I was told it was nothing, but I followed my gut and took my 3 year old to Dr. Schmitt. He was so wonderful and really took his time with her. Not even a week later she quit coughing and getting sick every few weeks! She has been free of her viral induced asthma for 6 months now!!!!

We once asked Dr. Schmitt why he became a Dr he told us to help people. When insurance didn't cover a treatment things got nasty very quickly. Even when we agreed to payments he refused to treat my daughter during an acute asthma crisis until the balance was paid in full. Greedy Dr is not trustworthy. Money over health = bad medicine

When I sought a physician who could continue my care for my immune issues I was referred to Dr. Schmitt. As a Registered Nurse who often works with doctors who think they are gods, or those who just want to build huge practices and only spend a minimum amount of time with their patients? I found Dr. Schmitt's attitude refreshing, his staff pleasant, and they treated me professionally and with a high level of care. Wait times were minimal, Dr. Schmitt spent ample time with me obtaining my history and was sincere in wanting to follow up and learn more about my history - I wasn't just another source of income. Having seen other physicians at practices where you are one of many shuffled through and allocated only five minutes of the doctor's time, and your questions aren't ever answered in his or her haste to move on to the next patient? I was very happy with my move to Dr. Schmitt and don't mind the wait when he is in with other patients, because he offers me the same courtesy.

No communication - either from doctor or staff. Half the time they don't even answer the phone during business hours. If you leave a message, no one will will return the call. I've seen several patients show up for scheduled appointments or shots, and the staff seemed to not be ready. I arrived once for an appointment and no one had any idea I was coming. If I have a reaction to a shot, they don't record it. I feel like I have been ignored. At one point they drastically changed the dosage of my shots without even telling me. Stay away from this doctor!!
