Dr. Harry Rosenthal should retire or go back to school. He is rude to female patients and his technique causes unnecessary pain and sufferiing and he almost always breaks blood vessels in my eye when administrating injections. I've changed Dr.s and what a difference my new Dr. made. No pain, no rudeness, no having to make an extra trip so he could order meds. No broken blood vessels, no staff that are so beat down they won't make eye contact. My new Dr. is a Godsend. A minus 10 would be generous for Dr. Rosenthal. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy.

I began seeing Dr Rosenthall about a year ago. He is fantastic, He is knowledgeable and kind. He is also extremely competent and is responsible for saving my eyesight when I let diabetes begin to cause eye problems. I lost weight, got in shape, followed his advise and can say my eyesight is comparable now to my sight when I began pilot training over 50 years ago. Highly recommend!!! Dr John Quincy

Both times I came, I waited over 2 hours to see the doctor. The waiting room is so full that he is obviously overbooking patients. Plan to spend hours here. As a doctor he is very knowledgeable and thorough. As previous poster said, he does speak primarily in medical language but I happen to like that. It's just the waiting that would prevent me from ever recommending him to a friend.

Doctor is rude, answers his personal cell phone during my visit which turned out to be a telemarketer by the sounds of it. Has little patience for questions and only speaks in clinical terms. Horrible bed side manner.

Dr Rosenthal is the best,I refer him to everyone who is needing eye help, He found what other Dr's couldn't. Thank you Dr Rosenthal for being the caring and smart guy you are. My parents are now going to him, I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for them. Sometimes you have to wait in the office for your apt alittle to long but Dr Rosenthal is well worth the wait :) Sincerly R Moore

Dr. Rosenthal is a vitreo-retinal surgeon with over 20 years' experience in his field. I consulted with him because I had an epiretinal membrane over my macula, and later decided to undergo a vitrectomy and ERM peel with him doing the procedure. Dr. Rosenthal was very approachable and generous with his time pre-operatively, moreso than with other surgeons I have encountered. Dr. Rosenthal exudes warmth during the consultation, and does not mind your questions. In my opinion, his communication skills are above average for someone at his level. Not perfect, but still very good. If you're prepared and thorough with your information-seeking, you'll do great interacting with him. Also, he's the only surgeon I've ever known who was there after the surgery and came to speak with me after I woke up. I have done well and I'm glad I decided to let him do my surgery.
