great Dental experience and very pleasant experience best dentist I've been to.

My whole family goes to Dr. Minnis and he is awesome with my kids. The staff is so friendly. We have never had a bad experience there and have been going for a lot of years. The office is very nice and clean and the nurses are great at explaining what is happening.

Dr. Minnis is a great Dentist if you are an adult. However, the office is horrible with children. My child has a fear of needles. So when he seen the needle, he became very upset. The dental assistant came and said that they could not do anything with him and I needed to take him to Dr. Rosenberg in Joplin. I asked them if I could go back to the dental chair. They reluctantly let me. However, by that time they had him so upset that he was not going to cooperate. They then told me that I needed to see a pediatric dentist in Olathe, KS (which is about 250 miles round trip from my home), and then proceeded to cancel all remaining appointments as it was their "policy" not to work on children who they felt might harm themselves. They sad thing is that he had several appointments before and they had filled the teeth with no problems. I guess you cannot have a bad day when dealing with this office.
