Ma fille a vu ce médecin a 5 reprises pour des douleurs abdominales dû a son colon irritable et il ne lui a jamais palpé le ventre!!! Il lui a prescrit de la médication a 300$ le pot qui l a rendu encore plus malade !!! Il semble complètement perdu, se cherche dans ses papiers, n a été d aucune utilité. Il ne lui a fait passé aucun examen complémentaire pour chercher la cause de ses douleurs. On avait fait des recherches pour trouver la cause de ses douleurs et il rejetait tout se qu'on disait en disant " bien non , bien non c est difficile de traiter le colon irritable!! " Elle s est ramassé a l urgence où elle a vu le gastro entérologue de garde qui a dit que les pilules prescrit depuis des mois étaient nulles et non indiqué pour elle !!! Elle est enfin pris en charge par un médecin qui lui fait passer des examens et qui trouve des solutions pour l aider !!!

Dr Szilagyi is cruel!! pretty much told me I didnt have Crohns and sent me on my way. told me to take gravol, said I had gastritis. I was 16yrs old. 1986. I went untreated until 2020 because he made me feel like I was nothing. I am now using a biologic Stelara which is not helping. Just discharged from the Jewish for several obstructions. Gastro and colorectal surgeon want to do surgery asap. I actually have Crohns ileitis. I see his name on the wall and feel sick to my stomach. I'll stop here.

Dr was not able to diagnose my problem and, although made an effort during covid to make contact, me, one call was a waste as he had no new results, and second results yielded no prognosis. So my very urgent problem in February became a wait and see in August. I do not have confidence.

I saw him for an illness yrs ago and he had no clue what to do. He weighed 300 plus pounds back then and told me he loved his wife's cooking?! I got well by seeing another doctor, so he's not the hotshot you might think.
Now, I am a medical student at Harvard. Karma is a bitch...

Very fine, knowledgeable and reachable doctor. He has played a large role in keeping my Mother stable and healthy. He even recognized me from high school days, which was another bonus!

I've had two colonoscopies with him over the years. I like him because I've never had a problem with his work, and, like me, he has a great sense of humour.
