Dr. Fillmore is the Doctor whom I have learned to trust after 2 pregnancies and 2 successful deliveries. Both times Doctor Fillmore did not want to answer my "what if" questions. She would point to the problems and give orders how to resolve them. She made quick and responsible decisions during delivery. She just wanted me to listen to her, and luckily I did, because both times the babies were at risk. Doctor Fillmore does not like to talk much, because she is very busy. But she knows what she is doing. With internship in Pakistan and many years here, in California, she has mastered her job. She has developed a professional hunch and all you need to do is trust her. I did ask many questions all the time, and she did stop to answer them. She was extremely nice and caring during labor. She was very nice during follow-up visits, always gave me a big hug and held my hand. I feel she is a God's blessing for me and my babies. My husband thinks the same way.

The doctor would not let me tell her my symptoms - she was totally rushed. When she performed the exam, she was extremely rough and hurt me! She told me that I had one thing, but when I researched it, it had totally different symptoms than I was experiencing. When I went in for my second (follow-up) visit, the staff said that she was not in and that they had called me several times on my disconnected home phone (a number that I never gave them). I gave them my cell phone, but they did not bother to call me on that phone, so I drove for over an hour for absolutely nothing. Besides, why would they call a disconnected number several times? Both the doctor and staff are very, very rude. I will not be going back to them!

She's all about OB & procedures - you see her once and never again-the NP is nice enough. Just had the staff person get "gently" attitudinal because I asked her to send records to GP. Wouldn't recommend because she is the Arrogant know-it-all Dr. type and doesn't really like to see patients. She's known throughout Diablo system for poor bedside manners.

Went in because I had spotting, cramping and found a strange white patch of skin on labia. She did a 30-second exam, did not look internally, told me she saw nothing. Started removing her gloves. I insisted she look again for the white patch. She heaved a sigh, rolled her eyes, found the patch. Two weeks later, did biopsy after going on a rant because I used the internet for information. Biopsy indicated squamous cell carcinoma in situ. She did not do a coloposcopy to determine if there were any other sites infected. Had to force her to check for the internal bleeding, so she did a pap smear. Told me she would schedule the wide lateral incision for the cancerous lesion, and do a D&C just in case the pap smear came back positive (she wanted to do the surgery before getting pap results.) I consulted a gynecological oncologist, scheduled all work with him. She called, angry because I had canceled, and ranted about being as skilled as he is because she has done hundreds of these surgeries.

Dr. Fillmore is extremely dedicated to her patients and is thorough and diligent in her patient care ( she even takes her own on-call the majority of the time). I could not ask for a better doctor to have delivered our daughter recently and to provide my ongoing GYN care - I'm forever grateful. While I was in the hospital after my c-section, Dr. Fillmore made her rounds at night to allow as much patient time as needed, and never once did I feel that she was rushing to leave my bedside(even though I knew she had already put in a long day of seeing patients in office ahead of me - (talk about dedicated and devoted!!!)). The staff at her practice are equally as wonderful! Prospective patients should expect to wait a little bit on occasion due to the nature of the type of medicine practiced, however, the wait is so worth it in order to receive the excellent care!!
