Dr. Lee did a great job with me and my daughter today. My baby is 16 months old and was difficult to hold still but Dr. Lee was patient with us. The testing was not fun but there is no other way to do it and I understand that. We left the clinic with a definitive answer and a prescription for an epi-pen. I will definitely be back too see him for my daughter's next appointment in 18 months for further testing.

Dr. Lee is quiet and reserved, but is always willing to answer questions and take his time with us and our daughter. We went through a food challenge last summer and he took the time to explain our options. It was a scary experience, but Dr. Lee made us comfortable.

Dr Lee bedside manner is poor and I don't get the feeling that he likes children. During our last visit I got extremely frustrated as I felt that he does not want to listen to me discuss my sons medical conditions. He keeps referring back to series of questions that did not cover his condition. I had to force the details with him! I don't feel at all comfortable in asking him questions eventhough I think he is quit knowledgable. However, his staff has been wonderful.

Dr Lee may come across as uncaring because he is quiet and focused on the testing. He is open to discussing any aspect of allergy life that you might need discussed, but you will need to initiate the conversation. While the testing part of his practice is very busy and there is a wait list, I have found that he was able to book me a consulting appt within a couple of days. He really wants to ensure that his patients are living safely and with a good quaility of life. Dr Lee has been to every AAIA Anaphylaxis Awareness walk/run since we started them. My daughter feels very comfortable with Dr Lee. Well, as comfortable as one can when they go to be tested.

Dr. Lee is an excellent doctor but he is not really sympathetic to children when they have to take an allergy test. The way he breaks the skin to make contact with the allergens are crude and painful. There might be 10 to 20 allergen tests on both arms, depending on what allergies are tested. Pollen and food have many similar varieties. My kid cries every time and can only hold his tears for a few pricks and he is a tough 10-year-old who doesn't cry often at all. I really wish he is more gentle with this procedure and tries to find a way to break the skin that doesn't cause much pain.

I found this doctor is very helpful and knowledgeable. The receptionist is friendly to kids and parents. Dr. Lee is not too bad with kids, only he looks very serious with all patients. He is very quick with his needles, I think it is the mothers job to calm the kids down at the bedside. The con is that he need to hire a person to do housekeeping work in his office or need a little renovation.

He is very knowledgeable and professional and his receptionist is very friendly. However, Dr. Lee is NOT warm and friendly with children. He is not reassuring, gentle, kind with children when giving them an allergy test (which is painful and scary for young children). I wish he had a better bedside manner because his knowledge is excellent. Social skills with children are about a zero.
