I was referred to her from my male doctor who would not acknowledge my problems when I started my period, and I was very happy he did. She was the first doctor I've been to that actually payed attention to every word I said. I was only 13 when I first saw her and she made me very comfortable and was very patient with me. I will definitely be going back.

She treats her patients like human beings. She made an unbearably difficult pregnancy bearable and has treated me better than any doctor I've had. Her nurse is kind, too. In the past, I have rated other doctors on here (in the Comox Valley) very poorly for their care of sexual abuse and domestic violence survivors, but this is a provider you can trust to disclose to, who will treat you with compassion and care, and try her best to give you good care despite any issues you may have, as long as you are honest and upfront. She is patient and understanding. She made me brave when I did not think I had any more courage left in me. We are lucky to have her in this community.

Dr.Rodgers was AMAZING! I had a m/c with my first pregnancy and had a terrible experience with another doctor. I was referred to her for a D&C and honestly if it weren't for her I would probably never want to get pregnant again. She was so understanding, real and took so much time with me. Before I went in for surgery she came out and talked to me, gave me a hug and totally put me at ease because I was so nervous and upset. I seriously can't say enough good things about her! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is such a great doctor.

Dr Rodgers spent a great deal of time letting me know all my options and making sure I felt good about the decisions I had to make.She was personable and very informed on all new and up to date information. While I was in the hospital not only did she come and visit me on rounds but sat and chatted with me. Her after care was awesome, I had to move away shortly after having surgery so she went so far as to give me her email address if I had more questions until I could get a new Dr. and to make me feel more at ease. Dr. Rodgers is a great Dr and I would recommend her to anyone.
