Dr. Block is a wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable pediatrician. She always returns calls and is careful not to over medicate. I cannot say enough about her. Dr. Block is the "real thing".

Love, love, love this Dr. despite the gross waiting room and long waits. I have learned to schedule early AM appt's to avoid long waits. Very personable and takes the time to make sure worried parents are well taken care of. Lots of experience and well esteemed at Morristown Memorial should your child have the unfortunate need to be hospitalized.Does not jump to antibiotics and will answer your phone call any time of day or night with a calm voice:-)

The doctor is okay (a bit old fashioned), her staff and office are awful. The nurse/receptionist had me undress my week old baby to weigh and measure her then she proceeded to cough all over her. I was told to leave the baby undressed because the doctor would be with me shortly - well we ended up waiting over an hour while I could hear the doctor through the paper thin walls mundanely discussing family life with another patient. The office was a total mess, papers everywhere. The nurse/receptionist was complaining about how she could never find anything - I can only imagine how many important documents are gobbled up by that messy place. Also, the examination rooms were smaller than most closets.

Dr.Block is very knowledgeable, and is great with my daughter, but her pracitce lacks a lot of technology. The office is small, not very clean, and smells from a water leak. Her staff is not very competent at all, nor are they friendly. The worst thing about using Dr. Block is that we had to wait a long time for each visit, and once we got into the exam room it still took forever.

We used her for 4 years with three children and are leaving as of this week. We always wait for an appointment, this week longer than an hour. Office has no windows, dirty and cramped. Nurse/Office Manager gave my 2 year old son a shot. She stabbed him three times in the leg and didn't get all the serum in him. She threw down the syringe and blamed us for it although I was holding him fine, it was the leg she held that got loose. After stabbing him, he got his leg loose and was kicking the air. She said that if he managed to kick her he would be sorry. Dr. Block IS loving and personable and does treat the children well which is why I continued going.

Highly recommended - she has an almost intuitive ability to figure out what's going on with your child. She talks to the kids like they are real people and takes the time to learn their stories.

Dr. is very excellent, perceptive pediatrician who can see problems in development beyond reason for visit. She avoids using antibiotics where less complex remedies cab do the job. She is very personable and empathetic to problems that children deal with gowing up; helpful and patient with parents to teach them how to deal with childhood issues. Dr, block has a loyal following and has many grandchildren of her grown-up former patients. She's an enigma functionings as an oldfashioned healer in today's world of physicians who give five minutes to patients and then move on!
